Jagex Team:

So far so good with the Alpha testing there are a lot of new interfaces that will need to be learned. One thing I would like to point out is the Camera view (ASDW) when you try to type out anything in global, clan chat etc it will spin the screen.

Also for those others that are working in Alpha. To log out of Alpha. Go to the bottom right corner there is a Wheel (clog) Icon, open up Settings and select log to lobby or Log out.

Hi Uncle Mars,

Sorry to hear you had some trouble accessing the alpha at the start. I'm glad to hear you've managed to log in and are enjoying trying out the new features. Thanks a lot for the feedback so far!

I've updated the news post with a little more detail on how to log in. Hopefully this'll help anyone who's having the same problem. :)

Thanks Mod William, I appreciate that. :)

Had another thought. Are we able to make the interfaces transparent so that we can click through them? This would pretty much solve the feeling of the screen being clogged up as well as visibility problems.
That which makes us all the same is the fact that we are all different

Hi, I dont have access to this alpha test and have only watched the behind the scenes so im not sure if this is already an option.

However, I was just wondering if there could be an option for those with dual screens. Perhaps a completely full screen game play window on one screen with all interfaces occupying the second screen / a mixture of both.

Might be nice to have a large map, chat boxes and other less click intensive interfaces open whilst maintaining a clean interface of most used icons on the primary screen as such.

I guess a work around on this with the resizable window is just stretching the game across both screens, but i envisage problems with the character being centred therefore lieing split between the two screens! + issues with screens of different sizes / resolutions.

To summarise... Optimisation for dual screening would be awesome! :D

the interface has a few issues but all in all its working pretty well a tutorial on how to would be nice but the quick get stated helped some ,the biggest issue for me is the camera zoom ,beta gives us this great long draw distances only you cant use them with alpha the zoom out is cutting the draw distance to half of regular runescape so y bother with the beta if you cant use the draw distance in the first place with the alpha interface?

The new interface system is brilliant! Very useful tools that can be customized to different people's playing styles and activities. So many great features. I'll have to give this a thorough going over this coming weekend as I spent just a short time in and was instantly able to navigate the controls with ease!! Awesome job guys!!

I agree with uncle mars, sometimes the screen feels a bit clogged with the interfaces. So why don't u make them transparent (but still visible) and only when we move our mouse over them do they solidify. I think that would help quite a lot.
