Pretty much the only people who play safe pvp minigames are 1. people who want the trimmed compeltionist cape 2. people who want profound armour for their player owned house 3. people who try to remember the old way of safe pvp minigames and wish they were back

PLEASE REMOVE THAT STUPID NEW WAY OF GETTING XP! You don't get xp in safe pvp minigames anymore? What's the point of even playing? Just another aspect of Runescape ruined by the eoc, the worst update in the history of the entirity of Runescape.
note: Forcing people to play dead content for the trimmed complesionist cape is not a good way to make people like it more.

All looks good to me, but clear up something for me:

Ice spells now have a staggered bind time, the binding shot ability has had its bind time reduced and, while in the arena, the smash ability now has a 60% chance to hit.

Is that bind time reduced on binding shot only in castle wars? Please tell me it's only in castle wars. :@ Ice spells can be spammed, binding shot cannot. This is a pretty nasty ranged nerf if it isn't cwars only. Headcanon Haven, where everything is made up and the points don't matter.

Lets get an update for stealing creations! Some Graphics maybe a little color and some better tools that last longer before running out. Some boots would be nice and a tinderbox or at least make the bow give 2x firemaking. The best mini game in all of runescape has be slow but instead you do castle wars update.

Jagex, i know that you'll fix the stupid dc glitch soon enough, but FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! ADD A FREAKING ACTIVITY METER! i play because i enjoy castlewars, but 65-80% of the people that 'play' just idle for the trimmed comp cape and I hate that they just stand around doing nothing for months at a time for a stupid graphical update on their cape.

fantastic update believed that it should be the players that put forth the most effort blah blah blah but yea u get the picture.great update now i can expect to see less people afking assuming if they want to win.(i still think souls is alot more rewarding.)

u know what would had been an interesting idea if you could trade your silver tickets for gold tickets.maybe every 4 silver ticket could be equal to 1 gold ticket. its just an idea though.(this would kind of give people a little more hope and an better reason to say if their team is losing.)

cant wait for the new beta coming out i hope its just like the first one you hosted.

Looks fun; might just be fun enough to convince me to renew my membership (something I've been rather loath to do after the eoc). Graphics look downright awesome, and reduced waits is tremendous. One quick question though (for Jagex or one of many players more knowledgeable than me) will the ability to wear helmets completely strike out the cape and hood theme, or is it just optional? Also, does this effect the balanced teams requirement in any way?
