This has not made me want to play Castle Wars at all, quite the opposite it just reminded me how broken it really is. This is what is REALLY needed to fix this stupid minigame.

- Losing team vote to end

- BAN ice barrage from CW completely

- Level specific routes encouraging players of any level

- Command structure (so commander can kick barricade destroyers)

- Small scale rewards for individual accomplishment, NOT just team win. (xp?)

- More dynamic midground (as atm it's just spam central with luck being the only deciding factor and tactics meaning nothing)

- Shorter games. They are way too long. The winner is decided before half-time in pretty much every game as then people on the losing team just coast as they don't care.

Hey Mod Asherz, I guess you haven't played enough castle wars to know that we players trust on the exchange system to have the most fun of our tickets. We can buy things we like at a moment we like to wear them, and exchange at a later moment for more expensive items if wel feel like doing so.
You've just backstabbed the players who had the lower items prior to the update by rewarding the new useless silver ticket in exchange for their previous achievements. Thranduil | King of the Elves of the Wood

And I don't agree SW is still awesome imo.

No one is more blue than me (: and no sw is dead..i can hardly play anymore because the only people that play other than they 10-12 swers that use to are bots...so i ask again for a jmod reply hopefully...sw getting an update anytime soon?

Google said that you have updated the news post? Huh? What does Google have to do with Jagex?

Lol! The Mod's lack of punctuation, poor spelling, and grammar has confused a couple of people.

'Google Says' is the name of a player that commented earlier in this thread recommending Jagex to update the newspost clarifying that the updated Profound armour is on par with Nex armour ONLY inside CW.

Should have been:
Google Says, we have updated the newspost now. Cheers.
Nothing interesting happens.

I'm sorry to say but I still see castle wars as the same broke mini game it was before the update. Lots of the players still just climb the ladder to afk the castle wars game and wait to see weather or not they get there tickets :( . I asked some people afking what they thought and they were happy because the profound armour would take less afk games than getting 5k games. Another issue that could use addressing about castle wars is the time of each game. I can ussualy tell whos going to win a match 10 minutes into it the other 10 are just spent waiting for match to end.
