I have spent years playing this game and have managed to avoid Castle Wars as it is nothing but a kiddies playground.


Why now that I am reaching the end game do I HAVE to play this at all. Its not fun, its boring and repetitive and as an individual I have no control of the outcome. Runescape was originally a solo game unless you wished to play the team elements.

Castle Wars is not a skill and being a skilled fighter is also not a guarantee of winning therefore for most it is just a time eating activity that to many is just a complete waste of time.

Remove this from the trim comp cape req's all together.

scorps, you say you have no control over the outcome, but..

when i used to play it, there were times when i got the flag back myself 3-4 times a round, which brought our score out of reach of the enemy.. if you are good with tactics then it can easily be won with 1 person..
castle wars is very much a part of the game and the trimmed comp cape reprisents completion of the game 100%, if you are not willing to do each and every part of the game, then simply dont go for the cape..

Funny guy. I'd like to see you survive 10 people shooting ice barrage at you while getting assault, sever-kicked left right and center.

The new graphics look great and its nice to have duel arena updated this month as well. The new reward system is a lot better than the previous one. Spending 20 minutes on a game only to lose and get nothing wasn't cool and it didn't really encourage u to finish a game u were losing. Since the eoc u no longer gain any xp for killing other players in these pvp minigames so it would be great to have a possibility to trade these tickets for xp like in pest control or soul wars.
