Maybe if you noobs actually played in 2006 you would see where I am coming from and how they are trying way to hard to compete with others when they stand no chance at all. I am only here for 2007 and I have every right to voice my opinon about Runescape 3.
I've been playing since 2006 as well.. what's you're point there? Sure you have the right to voice your opinion, but can you not concede that they're taking steps in the right direction? They already have the great points (lore and skills), and now they're tending to the parts of the game that aren't as well-developed as some other games. If anything, they're getting extremely close to doing just that (competing with others).

"End-game content, Once you do whatever it is you're supposed to do, there's really nothing left in those games."

If you knew of anything else outside of Runescape you would understand that those games are all built for End-game content, thats really where they game begins.

Just curious, why is it called runescape 3 if it's not a fresh start?

Why not just call it the HTML update, or something along those lines.
Runescape 3 (or Next Gen or whatever you want to call it) is a series of updates, not just the HTML5 update. All of the updates fundamentally improve the game in such a manner that it's as big as the RSC to RS2 change (or so it's said to be that massive).

@WzrdElectric I just would really hate to see another "big" change that will ruin runescape for good I mean look how many people play runescape nowadays(Most on being 07 players now) it use to be like 200k people back in the day when they made good changes.

Oh dear, looks like I hit a nerve, oh and one more thing, F2P in those games is a DEMO version. F2P in runescape is more like less content, but still the same availability.
There's no lvl caps for F2P skills in runescape. (Besides 99, but that's not the point)
