To answer a few questions:

- Is this a fresh start with a new character?
No, it's a continuation of the current game, no stat reset, no transfer is necessary... we're not taking anything away! RS3 is a major upgrade to the tech, visuals, audio, user interface, hi scores, website, plus a big campaign of new content where the players drive how the story evolves... but fundamentally it's building on the same game underneath.


- Will it work in browsers other than Chrome?
We're hoping that by the summer that it will work in Firefox too. And yes, it works on Macs.

- Do I need to use the HTML5 client to experience RS3?
No, you can use the java client to get the other benefits and content. However the graphic & performance improvements do require the HTML5 client.

- Will there be a beta? Will Gold & Silver premier club members get early access?
Yes and yes. More info to come in the next couple of weeks.

- What does RS3 this mean for regular game updates?
We'll still be doing our weekly game updates; this won't change.

Well RS2 have EoC removed and be playable pre-eoc style? Or will there be two EoCs?

I highly dislike the EoC. Let's hope for something pre-EoC that doesn't reset us to level 3 -.-

considering you said this is needed for elf city to be opened, is there any other cities and area's in the game you think HTML5 and the audio system are required for to allow us entry to these places (fossil island, penguin homeland, gnome sewer city etc)?
