Please understand that the currency values are different from country to country. For example a $1 USD (american currency) is worth $1.02 in Canada. Another example of this is, $1 US = $1.19 in new zealand. You may have to pay $40, but it is equivalent to $25 due to currency rates. This is my understanding.

anyone who actually falls for this promo is dumb as many have said it wont be long before jagex releases these in the solomans store as cosmetics and we all get screwed because we decided to buy them and on top of that with so many gold membership people out that jagex screwed over with the promo items do they really think we will fall for this??? come on jagex think before you release things

So, Person A is about to run out of membership, and they're planning on renewing it for another month or so in the first place, this is a great deal for them since they get a free outfit with their month's purchase, which they would normally have to pay~250 runecoins. By this I mean, if they were going to buy the card anyways, they now get a free outfit with it. How would this mess these people up?And for the people who bought gold premium membership, they get 3 spins daily instead of 2 and 2k runecoins along with a few outfit.... They saved over $100 just by doing this (wiki it for more info) And the fact that you said "Jagex think before you release things".. They obviously thought of this as they have to invest money to market these type of things. Furthermore, no one will be "falling for this" if they are going to buy these cards in the first place.

the fact of the matter is they lied to us about gamecard promotions being exclusive i wouldnt mind them being on solomons so much if solomons sold the actual item for a limited amount of time but that is not the case jagex really screwed those of us who bought the cards over

I'm with Porthiir on this one. I'm tired of being screwed out of cool stuff because I'm on an automatic payment plan just so Jagex can make an extra quick buck. It's not right to effectively penalize loyal and long-term players for being steady paying customers. Reward card-buyers some other way, but don't mix Jagex marketing with game advantages/items that steady regular-paying customers will miss out on. It feels like I'm being continually screwed out of stuff and cheapens my impression of Jagex.
