Honestly, I would rather this current server with the old combat system we had back in 2006-2007. It was fun, people had there own little unique spots, and methods to train their stats. This server also has an economy, it would be easier to just use this economy rather than spending time on building one. Where will we get Santa hats, Phats, Christamas Crackers, or any other type of rares.
One thing about Runescape, we like to dress up and look amazing. I honestly would rather PVP with the newer weapons that we currently have, than the older weapons. Whips, DDS, and G-Mauls are always fun, but Dragon Claws was amazing, God-swords are loved by everyone. That is why I believe it is better to use the current server.
The older graphics, no offense they were horrible, but at the time they were what we liked. The player base was huge, and we liked that, people merchandizing on their own, free-trading, we loved that.
What I liked at first about the idea of bringing it back is that we all had to start fres*, just because who would be at the top, could it be me? Now, I just don't like the idea so much. That is why I say, old combat system.
Now if you do change the combat system back to what it used to be, I would like it very much, as well as a few others. Maybe make an identical server with the old combat system? We all had out training spots, Rock Crabs, Monkey Madness Tunnels, Bandits, us players are lazy and we like to AFKably train (No offense to most).
I vote old combat system, but if not. Than I'll vote for 2006-2007 style because I've been with Jagex through good, and bad. I know half the players would like RS07 back, and it would be a fresh start. Race to the top, I'm up for the challenge.
