@Gomzos Well said well thought out +1 still prefer eoc
"This is my opinion, i dont mind eoc, but i do not play it anywhere near to what i played old RS. This is great, the community should be better as people discover rushing is much harder without turmoil, claws and overpowered gear.
I loved the old game, and if this comes back i will definitely pay $30 a month for membership even though i wont play Eoc at all. I miss old things Runescape had like Dragon scim look, rambo dds spec that wasnt 450-450 it was 300-300. Old style gameplay where people were self sufficient, if people needed food, they would fish and then cook them.
I personally am more happy to restart than if i didnt, think about someone walking around in a Runecrafting cape that they gained in Runespan, next to someone who slaved at Double Nats? The two games shouldnt cross except for friends chats.
The community wont leave this game, as many people think because of the goals people will set, i already have set goals for my new account and ill be lucky to achieve them within 6 months. It wont be replaying a game, it will be playing a new game, we will have to learn whats in the game by ourselves, relearn training spots, and the fastest ways to train skills. If you want 99 Strength, you cant camp Armoured Zombies for a week, youll need to find a training spot, and be constantly be banking for food as Prayer potions and 43 prayer will be hard to come by.
Its a new game, that hasnt come out, that i already Know i love, thats how people should see it.
And to the people saying no... This is for us, the community that prefers the old system, the community that had the balls to go into bandos with 70 attack and strength solo. Runescape is too easy, and thats why some people like it, Theres no challenge. Vote to help us, vote to save runescape. This has no effect on you if the vote is passed, it wont take updates from the new game. It will just let us enjoy what we have been craving for a very long time.
