I quit runescape may off last year, inot logged in on any account or even the runescape main page/forums what so ever in this time, I started runescape in 2004 and even though I don't play anymore the memories of good times I had in "old runescape" are something I hold dearly to my heart, it truly was a brilliant environment and it is something I personally long for.

I can not express how much I would appreciate a 2007 server, I am already dreaming of chopping magics for fun, training slayer in the slayer tower and cave, fletching with bowstrings I spun myself, mining in the falador mines, pick pocketing guards, inviting people as nooby as me to see my un impressive house, longing to get 85 slayer again. The point is, I know some of these things are doable with the current server, but I want that old community, and that is exactly what will happen with this update.

Please, please.. PLEASE never update these servers, no micro transactions as promised, I will be willing to spend £20 a month on membership just for a taste of old runescape, I want to get killed by some noob while runecrafting in the abyss, I want to walk to camelot through OLD taverly and burthope, I want a drop party in the Camelot party room, I want to report 20 bots at once for chopping down my yew tree, I am literally smiling thinking about the prospect of e return of my favourite pastime.

I am not a member currently as there is no way I am considering playing the abomination which is modern day runescape, but I will get a membership withing the hour you re release 2007 runescape,

I can't wait for it to be excepted to train attack with a whip and strength with a d scimmy because I will be to poor to afford a Sara sword, and make money at OLD barrows! literally you can't rerelease it fast enough, I will be back straight away once you rerelease it! (And please don't make a single darn change to it once you have!!)

Sorry for any out of context words, my iPad has a mind of its own.

There seems to be a lot of people being negative about this potential update.

Some people are complaining because they would have to start again. - To them I say it's only fair. If everyone were to carry their stats over no one would get to fully experience 2007scape and half the accounts will have been trained on modern-day incredibly fast xp methods.

Some people feel as if this will affect their EoCscape - If anything it brings in more money from the old players who come back and are forced to pay membership which will likely go towards EoCscape due to 2007scape not requiring large updates. Plus I doubt they will have all their resources on 2007scape anyway.

I don't see any negatives to this. Jagex acquire more money from returning players which in turn goes towards progressing the current day RuneScape even further while allowing players to enjoy RuneScape from 2007.

I would think that this poll is just here for them to gauge how much demand there really is so they can decide how much effort and resources to put into it. They want to bring it back but are using us to see if they should go all out or not.

I like the eoc, playing since 2005 I will not pay 15$ for an older version of rs while I also like the current game. but if it gets past level 2 I will definitely create a nice old school strength pure to have some fun now and then. and I certainly will vote a YES.

Thanks for listening to our wishes, but I am also hoping that this will not split the community too much. :)

there is a flaw in the voting system..there isn't 750,000 memberships if you count out the bots who won't be in favour of it. Jagex said clearly that there will be bot nukes in the servers to stop the bots from voting for it.

It's good that you did this poll but you did this too late, and probably it wont get more than 50,000 votes because many veterans quitted or don't have membership anymore + doubt that now all of the veterans have been brainwashed because of the exp bonuses and all those free items like in SoF etc. have changed their mind, so this is gona fail I know it.

Nevertheless I will vote for it in the small hope of they will renew it, but seriosly JaGex, you played dirty: You didn't put the poll in the first place before EoC, and now when most of us don't have membership because they quitted or didn't buy more membership there are lot less now, so you indeed manipulate us without you even knowing (allthought I'm quite sure that you were aiming for this at the whole time.

Good idea but it's fullfilment wont work (It will probably be like Soviet Russia)
PS. I don't mean to offend Soviet Russia I actually do like it.

Yes Funny how some ppl seem to forget that Jagex is a business. Of course this can be another way to get more money. They all want to make more profit, just as you would if this was your business. Duhhhh.

I'm still all for it because if your willing to pay to go out to entertain yourself, why wouldn't you be just as willing to pay for entertainment in the comfort of your own home. Seeing how you pay for your internet service already. Just don't buy that extra meal at the fast food joint or pass on your next 6 pack of whatever. You'll have the money to play. Rofl Smiles create more smiles :P .... Don't worry be happy. ;) God bless you all. :D :D

This is the first time since 2008 logging in here... I played actively 2004-2008 and I've got to say this is really great opportunity! It is just in the time that things were good those days... Im fine with that! Thank you Jagex! You gained my trust back <3
