clearly alot of oppinions here, i personaly cant wait to get into the old servers.. i started playing in 2004..thats where the memories and fun are, so of course id love to go back and do that again.. i really REALLY dislike the new EOC and many of the previous updates, iv lost all interest of the game at this moment because its no longer a fun game to play when i get home from work for a few hours when the missus will let me haha! and an additional 20 bucks to play is nothing..personaly id pay more if i had to considering back in the day it was 8 bucks. i cant wait

I just want to clear this up for the people who have misunderstood the "starting afresh" and are considering not voting for the old school servers because they think all their progress will be lost

YOUR CURRENT RUNESCAPE STATS WILL BE EXACTLY THE SAME WHEN YOU'RE PLAYING THE CURRENT DAY RUNESCAPE. WHEN YOU PLAY ON THE 2007SCAPE SERVERS YOUR STATS WILL BE RESET (ONLY FOR THE 2007SCAPE SERVERS) TO MAKE IT FAIR (IE. SO YOU CAN'T CUT IVY ON EOCSCAPE THEN TRANSFER IT TO 2007SCAPE WHERE YOU CUT WILLOWS ALL DAY)

Please do vote in favor of them, even if you don't wish to take advantage of them! :D

Everyone replying on the news, that 2007 is not the right year, shut the *bleep* up.

You probably never played before the year 2008 or so,

2006 is the best year but 2007 will be good as well.

Im very happy to hear, and im going to buy membership as soon as the poll is up, just to vote.

And there is no need for a 'no' button, the veterans have spoken, we want this, and we will get this, i probably would even pay 10$ for this, *bleep* The haters, lets get this oldschool **** back on!

Everyone can agree that the removal of special attacks was frowned upon and everone that ***** these servers strongly dislikes eoc for the most part. So why can't we all just accept pre eoc instead of trying to live out a particular era of runescape...... that's way over being nostalgic its being stuck on stupid. Why go all the way back before grand exchange. That's like going from a television show to a comic strip or a telephone to a telegraph. Don't try and downgrade to the point of runescapers going back to the stone age. Just accept everything before pre eoc. I personally just wanted the return of special attacks. I've been playing since 2006 and accept anything prior to the eoc. The ending result of this poll works in jagex favor regardless, but let them troll with this nonsense of 750k voters w/o any of them being f2p. If we did reach this goal they aren't giving us crap because that's way than enough revenue to have our own dev team for these servers. To be honest it's to much and jagex should be ashamed. They should make it 500k w/o f20 considering we needed 1 million votes with them to bring back free trade and wild. Wouldn't be less than fair if they did this.
