I'm not voting because the attitude of a lot of the people that were saying "All we want if a old school server" is disgusting. If it's not worth your $5, even for the chance to play the old game that you say you love so much, why the hell should I waste the time to vote? I don't care, I'm not going to play it, and if the only thing I see if complaining even when Jagex does an incredible compromise, I'm not interested in helping these people

they never said the only backup they have is from 07. many players tried to play on 06scape. and so jagex set out to find a FULL BACKUP THAT MEETS WHAT PLAYERS WANT. in November GE came out. then they had trade limits and removal of limits. and they say they have many partial backups.

this is the oldest full backup that doesn't have GE that is capable of being easily implemented.

they are offering an 07 scape because 06-07 was the peak. i bet you the have backups from pre eoc but they have no intention on removing the EOC. trade limit = gf 08 09. then you have the wildy prods of 2010-11 u get what u lose as dp. so dieing doesn't matter to much. you get ep and go kill friends free profit. the wildy was full but all the pkers sucked.

ok i have some legit questions:

1) Will the 07 servers have a client like the main game? Or will it be stickily browser.

2) will we be able to create usernames like for example I want the username "Cthulhu" which is currently taken. or will it be the same members assuming it is because of the extra membership fee.

3) Will it be a separate website with an old forum? Because that'd seriously be awesome. :)

OK, im loving this idea i just have a few questions/problems.
$15 a month for membership is far too steep! a gym membership is less than this!

I propose, if your goign to make us start from level 3, that you make a one off "starters" fee of $15 and make the monthly memebership the same as it is now for EoC members..This would be fairer on all, and i can see a lot more people willing to pay this.


By any chance does this have something to do with s0wr3cked's petition on change****? I know its at 45k signatures at the moment, just not many people have heard about it! It also allows for f2p players to have a say.

I personally think its unfair of Jagex to not allow f2p to vote in this particular poll, Like me i cancelled membership a few weeks back because of EoC, and i dont think its fair of jagex to make us pay for a months just to vote!

Anyways, thanks jagex for giving us this oppurtunity!

No Way am I paying $8 for membership + $15 and then + another extra $5 just to play runescape as it was in 2007. When "we" majority of the community said we will pay more to play old servers, it didn't mean you add +$20dollars to the game just so we can back in 2007 of runescape again. I expected better, really did. I know a lot of people will agree with me on this. The Economy right now is bad as it is already, no need to be wasting $28 on a game at this point. I'm going to focus on life instead.
