If the boss fight is afkable, that means I can chat while fighting it instead of having to focus. Therefore it would be more fun to me.

The overwhelming majority of players wanted a server around the 06/07 mark, so even if there is actually full backups in future years there's no reason they should go to those, it's not the most favoured option.

@GuysMad If you search the RSWiki you can find release dates of things.

Construction was released mid-06 and Hunter was released late 06 so they will be in. Summoning was a late 07 update so it won't be included (May be added later if we gather enough votes to gain the option to vote on polls for additional content from my understanding)

So you are saying Games are all about graphics?.. then clearly you are not a gamer. Graphics Should not MATTER at all, its the game itself and how it is built. You obviously know nothing about 06-07 era, or earlier.

Seems like every post is similar and can quickly be responded to.

yes more than 100k members exist in runscape. (i estimate about 700k, because there are 610k members with 15 hp)
trail members dont have a vote so they wont skcew the results
yes everyone starts at level 3

a lot of players dont see the point in restarting, well i am willing to bet the majority of them never actually played in those days some of my best memories are from learning more getting better and making bank

and RSC people still had the bots from before, rsc never changed, the live game runescape constantly evolved so i doubt many script makers will have backups for 07 re scripting will be easy unfortunately.
and no rares. or at least it doesn't look like it.

anyway I dont see why so many people are complaining about why go back in time, because they never played in this time and how this makes no business sense. well 06scape had 300k supporters members within 2-3 months.

if you didn't play in 07 you wont get it, the graphics where different, items kept on death were on alchemy value, dieing just about anywhere was dangerous. the game had risk every twist and turn. i love the old graphics i got addicted to them, and i loved pking. it was a harder game a lot of the players now are babed

oh ya all the people saying there was a vote to bring back wildy and now nobody is in wildy. wildy was flooded until imp boxing and rushing / pjing started. and then EOC destroyed it. its not the wildy we voted for.

not trying to rude if you dont know what your talking about stop talking.

90% of what i said is mentioned in the FAQ. but seems like about 40% of players cant read the rules. and if the game has a membership fee that instantly hurts how many people are willing to bot it.

@El Rahvin Except RuneScape did not progress for the best. As can be seen by the obvious decline of RuneScape players and increase and support of old school Runescape private servers.

Yeah by ancient players who have trouble handling a keyboard with more than 2 fingers.

No, it is my opinion that the game goes the good way. I myself like the new combatsystem more then a dump click-and-attack combat system. I like a game with more than 5 pixels a screen, and I like the quality of the last quests (which is way higher than it was before, except for demon slayer and some others, but well).

To stress out that I can say no, while you can vote yes

I will never play the 2007 game anyways, as I quitted in 2003 because of the horrible quality of the game and only came back 2009. Taking a step back is good sometimes, but taking far too many back is never good.
