ok, ignore my last reply. this is horrible! everyone starts fresh? what the hell? if i would of known there would be such update as eoc i wouldnt slaved my ass for 2 years to get 99slay! just feels like ive wasted almost 2 years! and im pretty sure im not the only one who feels that way. we should be able to load acc stats from our main accounts and certain items that where only avalible at 2007. THIS IS NOT FAIR! i would commit a suicide seriously!

I won't comment on spelling mistakes, because i hate ppl who try to redirect arguments that way, but you're points are 100% invalid. there are grown men (and women) whining about eoc as well! Me being one of them lol. not to mention the fact that you would not be dividing a community, just expanding it. plus, it's shrinking because ppl want 2007scape and don't have it. All those private servers will start going down because they'll lose members who will return to safe ol' jagex (lol). Plus, Jagex will probably hunt them down to ensure that those member will attempt to return to 2007scape. (There's this little person in my head that tells me that Jagex is completely unaware of all these private servers... hell, unaware of google itself. All ppl have to do to find illegal stuff on the internet is use google... They found Osama using Google Earth!!!!!)

To everyone saying why not later-
because 09 isn't old school.
This is a possibility for us older members to play something we loved and lost.
This is not the opportunity for newer players to go back to the year they started playing.
I started in 03 or 04. I can't stand the new graphics. I can't stand EoC. I can't stand dungeoneering. I hate the Squeal of Fortune although the prizes are decent enough - I miss watching my axe head fly off, shaky trees, a nice kebab handed to me every now and then. I miss the community closeness of trading in banks. I miss the flood of people actively trading.

To everyone asking God Wars to be implemented -
That is not the point. God Wars are in the newer game. If they don't implement God Wars in this old school update, the reason would clearly be because they're making it as authentic as possible. If I want to have god swords, I can go on the current RuneScape.
