I logged back in for the first time in months just to see if this rumor of a 2007 Rs was true. I see the front page and it was! I will be subscribing for one month- just to vote. I honestly have little intention of supporting the current RS. I have always, and always will love RS(don't tell me "THE GAME HAZ TO CHANGE DOE" because the current game called RuneScape in not the same game. I'm not saying it's bad, but it realy isn't the same game. It has nothing to do with nostalgia)

2011 was still my favorite year BY FAR, but 2007(with the possibility for updates, I really hope it gets to that level, can maybe make it near the same level of greatness as '11) is much better than what we currently have.

Thank you Jagex, you have regained some of my respect and loyalty that you once had, and slowly lost- most of it through 2012.

Jagex you must not give in to those wanting stats/items transferred but keep it so all players start out at level 3!

Why?

- Fair Start
- Gives time for all players to contribute to the economy
- Encourages growth due to the rarity of items at the beginning
- Players are saying how many will quit due to the lack of items and trade but this will honestly teach players to be more patient and to value a positive economy since RS2's current one is hyperinflated.
- By transferring over items/stats you are basically adding "Discontinued Rares" in the sense that many players will make millions and even billions by using their skill/item advantage compared to others.

++ This also makes potential gamblers completely ineffective until they do Legends Quest which can take a long time to get the requirements for, and since most florists do not have the inclination to actually work for something like this, it renders O'SevenScape safe from flower scammers!

If you give players the opportunity to transfer items/stats you are allowing that effect to re-occur on this new retro server. Please don't allow the 07's economy to be effected by the transfer of player stats/items!

Actually no i wouldn't want to try playing Runescape at the time there was no Grand Exchange.

I remember Mod Mark stating why there can't be server where it has the old Runescape combat system and server which has the current Combat system now which is known as E.O.C.

He clearly said "He didn't want to have 2 communities in Runescape"

I guess I should change my name then...

Just a few questions, if a mod could please answer these for me, since what the answers are will decide whether or not I return to RS as a member.

1) What was the PvP like back in 2007? I've been here for BH crater, PVP worlds, etc etc I just forget the dates of their release.

2) Since everyone needs to start over, will holiday items such as santa hats, christmas crackers, partyhats etc. be re-introduced to the game during special events?

3) Will the 2007 version of this game receive updates or will it just simply continue to be 2007 24/7? (Personally as a very experienced bounty rogue and dharok pker I believe you had it right up until EOC released, but BH crater was the best update imaginable).
