To people that are talking about how they don't want to start over:

"That kinda means we just did everything for nothing"
-no... this is a completely different game. Your current stats and bank on runescape don't change. You don't have to play this.

"I don't want to have to redo everything"
-What's more fun, the result, or the journey to the result? If you play these types of games then you must enjoy grinding for xp and money. I honestly cannot understand why you wouldn't want to start fresh alongside every other player. Where EVERYBODY is on the same level. Getting to watch the players and the community grow. This is honestly the main draw to me wanting to play it. It sounds so fun and exciting.

OK REALLY YOU WONT PLAY BECAUSE OF GRAPHICS! GRAPHICS OF A GAME DONT EVEN MATTER, THE FIRST STAR CRAFT GAME HAS BAD GRAPHICS AND ITS SUPER POPULAR STILL GRAPHICS DONT MATTER IN A GAME JUST THE GAME PLAY ITSELF

I think it would be best to make everyone start from scratch on the servers, people seem to be worried about having to start again but think about it.

Yes, getting your stats up can be hard work but you can't say that you don't look upon those days with fondness, 07 was so brilliant because you didn't get everything handed to you on a plate, you had to work for it, things were different back then.

Transfer of items would cause the economy to become trashed, another reason people are fond of this era is because items had not been farmed to the max at this time, an abyssal whip was the drygore of that time, it was very rare, let the economy grow in its own time, imagine the feeling to get one of the first dragon chain-body drops from the kalphite queen back when it was hard.

Btw this isn't my firs* account, my first account must have been around 2005 :p

I laugh at the kids that say noooo!!!, whrat abrout peodlds; thatr against..

In what way, shape or form does this affect you? Runescape is simply trying to get their players back, and the community will be much larger when Runescape 2006 is back!
