Tricky (trick?) Question.
The upcoming poll is one of the trickiest questions ever posed, on Runescape, and the person who thought it up, along with the way they say it will be implemented should get the Politician of the Year Award.
MMG came to Runescape and I really have not found much to fault him with, so far, even as he has become the supposed root of everyone's problems, imagined or otherwise. BUT, this poll is total hogwash.
Here's why.
I don't want a dead 2006- 2007 Runescape. There's classic for that, TYVM. I want a Runescape that's very much alive with regular live updates and a large player base. Not some marginalized uncared for game (yes you say that you will work on it, but lets be serious here).
I won't vote for it. Not because the game as of now is fantastic, but then a game stuck in 2007 won't be either.
The real poll should have been EOC or not. Now that would have the whole player base on one game and would be much more relevant.
Like I said, I will not vote for this, nor, I am sure, will a lot of sensible people, and thus, Jagex, having misled people into believing their show of transparency and willingness to reconsider bad decisions, will have vindicated their stand to continue with EOC, and will probably save themselves a lot of pressure from their investors.
Whoever thought up this poll, you seriously deserve an award. I only wish I could have half as much guile.
