I left this game about 4 years ago. Sure I've logged in occasionally just to check on my favorite accounts, but i don't actually play. Ive even lost a few 'silver p-hats', if you catch my drift, due to account inactivity i assume (which i agree is a wise move). That was a part-time job without a paycheck, but i did it to protect the younger naive players and preserve the integrity of the game.

These days, those kids are exposed to all manner of uncensored filth in-game, and the integrity went down the toilette.

I've paid as many as 4 simultaneous memberships, but I'm not gonna pay $ just to vote to restore a game i already spent hundreds on only to have all my accounts ruined by major game changes.

Its an insult to expect your ex-loyal customers to pay $ for a game they don't like (no offense) just to be able to vote to restore the game that they did like and already payed for.

Not to mention having to start all over from square one rebuilding their accounts. Believe me when i say that building a maxxed pure was a pain, and there's zero chance id waste any more of my life rebuilding this account that i already worked so hard on

Im expected to pay over $20 a month just to have my stats deleted, and return to a game that used to cost $5 a month, and years of my free time? What a joke. Its obvious what the motivation is here

Just my 2 cents (litterally), and i think thats the whole reason alot of old schoolers like myself jumped ship in the 1st place

No respect for the hard work and loyalty of the players that made Jagex what it is today

The new generation that displaced the old one will just pony up more cash (rather, their parents will) to see what the old game was like, but i doubt the people that left will

I wasn't entirely looking forward to this because I thought they would restore a complete replica database from then (including accounts, etc)...

But it looks like everyone's starting fresh!

Something I've ALWAYS wanted!

This will be amazing :) - Even if it doesn't quite work out for us (due to voting numbers), it's still a great idea.

wish people would stop complaing about how unfair it is for everyone to start even
i wouldent want my states on old rs whats the point of me going into the old rs with nerly maxed account all the fun would be taken out of it i dont play main rs anymore sept for ports mainly because i maxed all skills ontop of that eoc and the general econemy isent what it used to be and how can you call it unfair if everyone starts even this way its fair giveing everyone here states from *ow your makeing a lot happy but a lot unhappy a lot of people still dont have high stats nowa days and a lot do would it be fair to start a fresh server with players who can get the best items in hours and the lower levels will take ages to get them perhaps years? starting fresh and raceing in the high scores will be fun doing all the stuff the right way this time around and have fun not meny will have full time yes *** again that puts most of you on an even playing field to the hardcore people who will be camping this like myself if they like the game that much why hate on them for haveing fun please stop this complaining jagex wont make people have there old states it would be unfair to some fresh start and fresh accounts will make it even for all and heres another thing werth pointing out because this is a fresh start there wont be any ingame items you will need people skilling and training skills to generate wealth and items into the game another reson why they wont make everyone have there high states in the main game no 1 would skill only pk and the game would die in weeks

@EVERYONE NOT WANTING TO PAY 1 MONTHS MEMBERSHIP TO VOTE!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sure all if not most of you have been begging for this chance since eoc came into the game. I really hope you guys don't let 7 dollars stand in your way now and besides.. Mod mmg said those who vote will get the first membership on the 2007 servers for free so think of it as buying membership early. Everybody needs to come together and vote. Don't think your 1 vote won't make a diffierence. Every vote is 1 step closer and 500k+ is what we really need to aim for at the least because it's a free service at that point (with main runescape membership) EVERYONE REPASTE THIS EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's actually better to start off fresh in the 2007 server. Because tell me, how are you able to keep the current items you have when 2007 has a completely different content than today?

I mean today, we have millions of weapons and items its ridiculous. I remember when the whip was one of the strongest weapons on the game.

This game has gone to complete ruin, thats why people quit. People didn't quit because they wanted to move on with their lives. Sure some did that, but the population would've still remained constant as new players come just as fast as old players go.

There was a distinct difference in RuneScape in 2007 than today. ALSO, RuneScape was UNIQUE, that's why people played it.

When you put all these "redundant" updates on the game, this game becomes boring and repetitive as games such as Skyrim.

The majority of players quit this game after the wilderness died. The game peaked before the ditch was implemented. The only people who support Pre-EoC are just "newcomers" or people who think they know what they're talking about.

For example, look at the band Blink 182. They were awesome in the 90s and early 2000s. After they split up and came back, they've turned to crap. Sure I love them to death, but their new album isn't great.

Bringing the game back to 2007 is not "living" in the past either. Nothing is permanent and this game is always subject to change. I can gaurantee you that if 2007 is revived, A LOT MORE PEOPLE WILL PLAY.

UNIQUENESS, and Game play is what brought people into this game, not because of "GRAPHICS".

If you want to play a game because of "graphics" go play something like Skyrim, seriously.
