Explain why a separate few coders could produce a game previous to 2007 when Jagex themself cannot give the effort to do so. Also they stated that "most of the features players have asked for"... what players? Why wouldn't they be able to implement newer dates with a new backup system? Why would it only be this specific time?

And you actually believe that they do not backups of at least the source code and build system for versions after 2007? Switched to the new EoC software and deleted all of the old code from the versioning system as well as all backups? And still mysteriously have -just- the one from this particular period in 2007?

If that's true, then they are incompetent. If it's false, they are lying. Either way, it doesn't smell very good.

Jagex still needs the players back, do they not?

They should be offering this up, for

Maybe, a month or so, just because they are really trying to gain back the respect, and
want to bring back the customers.
Jagex, and the players could then see the outcome as a community- that sounds fair to me.

People should not pay to vote, as the last vote was rigged, and i'm sure this 1 will be as well.
Players have issues with the state of the game, and have reason to distrust, because of past behaviors.

I think they need to be more careful when making decisions such as this because there are many consequences, both short and long term which can lead to further complications if they are not handled with care. I like that the poll is taking place over an extended period of time, I think that it will give them a good idea of the type of initial demand they will experience, but I would like to see the tiered goals be looked at not now before the servers are even opened. I think they should let the server run for the first month and see how many people actually use it.

If I read correctly it will be free for members for the firs* month anyways so it is essentially a beta. Make the business decisions after you have a very good idea of how much demand there will actually be.

I support the providing of a service for people willing to pay, but make sure that the service, once it is offered, will actually continue to have such a high demand.

YOU ARE WASTING YOUR TIME. Jagex is only allowing official members to vote. This means not F2P. This means noone with trial accounts. Stop spamming the idea you idiots because your all ******* ********
