Out of all the bone head ideas I've seen this one really takes the cake. Why even have a vote its already decided. I gues if you whine and cry loud enough you can get special treatment even if your a small minority of players. Guess what I voted against free trade and wildy can I have a server too? There will be harm to the main ggame mark my words I don't belive for a second there won't be. Just like they said free trade an wildy wouldn't have any adverse affects either, unless of course you count the tens of thousands of bots that flooded in after that. Oh well here we go again hold on for the ride.

The membership cards cover the current game.. which you must be a member of in order to play the old server..

No, now that I think about it.. there is no logical thought progression.. jagex didn't say and as far as I know they haven't said anything about "how" to pay for it.. only that you must be a member.. sorry. Well i guess Most of the players who have payed for the past i don't know how many years and quit recently wont be voting. Clearly a money making ploy to get us to make member's to vote.

That aside i'd realy like this to happen. I look at the timeline Jagex have on the runescape website and i see 1-2 updates i don't from the start to 2007 past that its the other way around only see a select few.

Something i also wonder. I know that a long time ago runescape went over a million members, but as i here and could tell before i quit myself is that many people were leaving the game. So Does runescape even have 750 000 members to get it up to level 4 i mean surely they know level 1 will ultimately fail with no updates to game content.

My feeling is even if level 1 is achieved people would definately rejoin and those servers would be packed that they may decide to take it to higher levels without the votes this would be ideal in my mind. I understand they don't want to give up on eoc the amount of time and money which must have gone into it, but the eoc makes runescape and entirely new game not one i want to play becoming more and more like WOW which i think alot of runescape players don't like this game was unique.

While jagex frustrate the hell out of me sometimes they also made a highly addictive game a while ago and i'd like it back, but i won't be paying five pounds to vote so i hope all goes well.

awww, they're not putting up the poll 'til FRIDAY... :(

For the people who aren't reading the comments way back on the first couple of pages, this really is the only backup they have that's still "old school". Or the only complete one/wouldn't require months of extensive reworking.
