Could you give us an exact date of the backup? because GWD came out on August 27 2007 which was obviosly a huge update and might change some people's opinions. If it was after this date it would definently attract people like me who would love going back trying to do "insane" solos of bandos in like guthans. PVM would be very limited if it was before this update.

I love how some people are trying to call this a scam, it costs money to run a server, they wont do it if just f2p people want to play, also people have like 20 pures that they could vote on if f2p could vote. We have been begging for this, and they give us a chance and some people are complaining about something else. What a shame. PS I love this and can't wait for it to happen.

If you read the article titled '2007' on the RuneScape Wikia, and even '2006' for some reference, you'll see that 10th of August is almost the PERFECT point for a replica. Why?

* Clan chat feature added 4 days BEFORE 10th August,
* God wars dungeon released 18 days AFTER 10th August, meaning all those 'new' and expensive weapons/armour won't be available, which is very fitting for a legacy server,
* Construction, Hunter, Farming, RuneCrafting, Slayer are all included, and Summoning isn't included thankfully,
* Barbarian Assault is added months before April, which is a fun minigame
* Achievement diaries are added 3 months BEFORE 10th August. Only the Kamaja achievement diary is released though, unfortunately Varrock and others are released later

Anyway I hope we reach anywhere between 50,000-749,999 votes! Because if we actually do manage to get 750,000+ votes they'll be a development team dedicated to the game, which means they're viable to ruin the legacy server just like they did to the 2013 servers.
