People are complaining that they want to keep their levels and items/rares. If you want to keep them, stay in the current game. This server is a NEW server, and as such everyone should start out with a NEW account, a fresh start.

And what about the customers who were loyal up until the point where Jagex messed everything up, or the loyal customers who simply can't afford a membership anymore?

I was a loyal player from 2005-2009, and from 2011 to mid 2012, but then I let my subscription drop and they added EoC. I'm not spending money just to vote once when the most likely outcome is that they're going to charge an ADDITIONAL $15 a month just to play a game, if it even comes out at all.

$22 a month is simply ludicrous.

If I had the money I would make 750,000 different accounts, make them all members for this month, and get this vote passed. Honestly I do not agree with the "members only" vote considering that most people in support of this are ex- members who only terminated their membership because the game changed away from how it used to be. I'm sure if you opened this up to all people and made the top milestone 7.5 million you would reach that goal in three days.

I think starting from scratch may be very annoying. First I'll have to get very high mining/smith/crafting/fletching/rune crafting/herblore to make decent armor/weapons/supplies. I love the idea of having no one have barrows/gwd armor and make them hard to get but simple items will be very tough to get. To make matters worse, many people wont play this so there will be less people collecting items for others. One last thing, I don't know what will happen to coins. After all, it will be very hard for coins to be introduced into the game and for a long time trading will be more like bartering which is a lot more difficult.

BE CAREFUL - while we are desperate for an alternate to EOC.....Really 07 Why not anything in between....they have the content on Nov 20th 2012 .....What happened to it?

8. Will you go back to the old combat system if EoC doesn’t work? If people don’t like it, would you go back to the old system?

Pi: Functionally, it does work to the point where we are happy to release it. I think you’d have to define doesn’t work. The old combat system is still there, we haven’t deleted the code although we’d be much happier to slowly phase things in to make the new combat system closer to the old one rather than just completely flip over because we do have that problem where we can’t progress, we can’t push forward and that’s not somewhere where we’d be happy to go back to.

people seriously saying they enjoyed spamming at banks to sell things.. unless the ge would become an update, theres no way id be playing this version.. the ge makes selling things a quick and easy process while before you would waste hours typing the same thing over and over waiting for someone to trade you.. no thanks. besides, i like the current rs. actually takes effort to play. it isnt jagexs fault they have a bunch of lazy players who wanna sit back and watch their character auto attack all day... (which you can still do if you have good enough stats easily >**** ;)
