Are you ********? For $20 bucks a month they can hire a few new staff to run things. It won't take many to maintain and unchanging server and for the cost of playing 07-scape, they can afford to hire some new stuff. Don't grief everyone who wants the old game back. Look at it this way, I'm paying *7 a month for a game I'm unsatisfied with, in both where it is and where it is going. If I want the old game and am willing to pay for it, then I have the right to do so. If you seriously think RS2 coming back will hinder 2012's EoC-scape then I won't even bother with people like you. Also, I would gladly just leave Jagex's broken game and go play on a private server where this game is completely unaffected by it's existence, but Jagex won't let any private servers to run under their own power (meaning the owner of the server is paying to up-keep it).

Please don't put words in my mouth, I didn't say it would hinder runescape if Jagex were to give 'us' 2k7 servers. I said the efforts could be focused on fixing problems in the real game as opposed to satisfying the unsatisfiable. Pleasing the runescape community is like hydrating a desert.
You're absolutely right about having the right to an '07 server if you want to pay for it. More for less content seems legit. But as I have already said, I and countless others do not and will not have anything to do with it.
