Yes. just yes. After JaGex shut down 2006scape I had lost all hope in them. At first I thought that they had not learned anything from it, like the 400,000 registered users and the fact that so much effort was put into it. This has restored my hope in this company.

P.S. I proposed something like this a while back.

Despite the fact that my post probably wont be read because of the volume on here so far, here are my contributing thoughts...

Reasons I WILL vote:-
- Hiring a new team to manage this project is helping the economy, no matter how small.
- Cross platform chat!
- Fresh starting accounts.
- Hopefully a lot of Main-RS PKers will sod off!

Reasons I WONT vote:-
- I feel a lot of players will abandon Main-RS and shuffle over to Vintage-RS.

You have my vote Jagex, I just hope it wont split the community too much :(

I totally understand that we should have a fresh start but that seems some what annoying. After all, people have spent hundreds of hours working on their current accounts and yet all that would go away. Personally, I would really love to play this again but I would rather spend my time on my account in normal Runescape. Honestly, I wouldn't mind having my skills a tad bit lower than they are right now, but I just feel becoming a level 3 with 1 in all my stats (but hit points :D ) will be very boring

I will renew my p2p tomorrow to vote and if the 2007 servers come back i pay double membership if needed.
I have to thank jagex for this, after seeing the game go downhill and all the features i loved on old runescape getting changed its AWESOME to see that they are giving us the chance of playing THE game again.
Huge thanks, i cant express how awesome this is and im so excited to see it live.

Trading at world 2 falador was amazing, killing experiments for xp was nice, was there i meet Purple Ownzx.nat running was great cash, pking was awesome.

And i think that clans will benefit this the most, as most of the high tier clans were closing after eoc.

Hoping, REALLY hoping clans like DI - Runescape Dinasty - CL - Eos - EH - Australian Army - Adelais - Trwf - Tmrd - Aggression [Would kill to see Aggression back in action,loved aggression <3 - Noobs Inc [Yeah they were fun@] - The Rising - ROT <3 - Corruption <3 - Forsaken - Shadow elves could come back :D Just my 2cents as i had to share some love after knowing about the chance of playing the game i used to love.

yesss finaly!
i played back in 07 and i dont know why some of you are in strong disagreement with this poll, even tho the mod said this would not change the current game or affect it's updates/progression in any way.
this will be so much fun, but if it ends up not reaching a target where it will be free for members (if not for everyone), then i might not play it.

Anyway, one question. if this is suposed to be a exact version of what 2007 is like, will it also include tutorial island?
