Hi there, can a Jmod please confirm,

Will god wars dungeon and Third-age Gear reach this 2007 server? I looked up RS 2007 timeline on RS wikia and the God wars and third-age made it into the game on August 28th That's the end of the month :O

Jagex here is an suggestion to you in case the votes don't turn up to your expectation, reduce the cost of membership by half with a point that old server will cost you guys more money so that you can use this to convince people about the hike of old server we can say this as discontinued items/materials cost more money I own a discontinued model of lexus GS 350 2004 and it cost me more money because it was old and it cost me money for maintaining it and it still does. Yes you have to focus on getting paid by satisfaction not forcefully. so my advice is when you finally decide on releasing the 2007 runescape gradually reduce the price of membership so that people will understand why the price is more then $5 because maintenance can cost money and that is something we(runescapers) should be concerned about aswell.

This would be a piece of nostalgia at best, rather like RS Classic. I joined in 2008 ish (though have played continuously since) so for me this would be an RS I never even knew first time around. A game with a lot fewer items has its appeals but a PK wildy (pre- removal) is as bad as the reinstated one (my view), no ge would mean a return to shouting in banks to trade, removal of present skills (and quests) added since, wind back of stats and no updates plus perhaps an extra fee to play it - none of this sounds very appealing. Folks clamouring for the old days are trying to re-capture their feelings of the time in my view rather than really want an old game.

I do love old games and value their simplicity. Indeed, I love it when I find things like Chip's challenge, some of the Mac galactic empire type games and so on in online presently playable versions, but RS is one I play too seriously in the 'now' version to want to look this far back on it. There are lots of things I dislike about the 'new game' but I don't feel the old version will 'mend that' because it throws out the good with (my view) bad. Also to a modern audience, especially a target audience of teens the old game would be laughable. Now of course I am NOT a teen (lol many times) and do believe the older players that presently play RS are not sufficiently appreciated, catered for or considered in designing (most) content and maybe this idea is a nod in our direction, but not in my view the right one. Instead please give us more polls about what we might want and keep going on things like Runefest (but maybe an online version that most of us could actually afford to attend!) where hard core fans can tell you what they are looking for.

My support would be lukewarm I have to say for bringing back the 2007 game.

This is a great idea. I started playing runescape in 2007. I do not know when I exactley got members. It was probably around the middle of 2008. (and no what it says under my name is incorrect that is when I last renewed it) I was addicted to this game once i found out about it. I surpassed my friends even though they were higher levels then me when they showed me it. 2007 in my opinion was the best year for runescape. It was so populated also. World 2 fally trading. Pretty much every bank everywhere full. Tutorial Island was one of the best things I liked. Luring people too was really fun. Not saying were that's my secret ;) Look at the game now. I am not saying that it is bad. If you go anywhere you barley see any players. 2007, you could see people everywhere. My friendslist in 2007, I always had people online. Right now, I have 35 friends in total on my friendslist. I use to have a full friendslist. They all quit. Out of my 35 friends I have right now, there are about I'd say 3 or 4 active. None of my friends play anymore.
