Also 2-5x exp rate would be cool, but I doubt they do that.

Fact is, I'm not a little kid anymore, don't have endless hours to just play video games. I'd like to sign in once in a while and play when I have free time. It's gonna suck if I have to start from scratch with 1x exp rate.

I think that this is an amazing idea. This way, we now know that players on both sides can be happy. I know that when the EoC release date was announced, I was particularly upset, however I have grown to like certain aspects of it, and I feel that it will be a big improvement to the game if there are servers up for 2007 as well, Thank you so much for listening, this is all we had wanted(:

I'm with you on that. It's funny, a good chunk of the players who know how to find forums don't know how to read.

Basically every member should vote for this, even if they don't want it. They have nothing to lose, but the classic players have everything to gain.

I prefer the current RS, but I wouldn't mind playing the old servers here and there. And it's odd hearing people whine about having to start at level 3, back when EoC was in beta phase the pures were ranting about how they don't make new accounts for the unfair advantage, they make it for the fun and challenge of starting over and raising their levels in a specific way. I *onder what happened to that....

There will be 1-3 MILLION playing the 2007 sever... no vote is even needed.

Why would any sane person who spent years building exp and status want to start at Lvl 1 killing spiders * ***lins etc! and pay more for it. Giving up their lives again to achieve anything on this game. At least with the current game you can play....get somewhere....and have a life!

I hate EoC with a passion.............just delete it! Thats what the majority want. Jagex is just looking for a quick fix to make it look like they care.....oh and make a few quid out of it at the same time.

Why not carry out a poll that gives people choices

Can you hear that? that sound of many old-timers clapping their hands? The rustling of wallets, preparing to bring out the plastic & pay a bit more for some good old-fashioned RS playing? Music to my ears!!!

I added "Grumpy" the day EoC came out and killed RS for me....I can't wait to remove it!!!

VOTE people - VOTE!!! Even you EoC fans...help get us dedicated servers, you'll not see us again in WOW Lite, nor hear us complain about the good old days!!! It's Win-Win all around!!!

8 year vet and I just renewed my membership. I am still in absolute shock and cannot even believe you FINALLY realized this. Respect, even though i havent had faith in you in years im glad you guys have decided to listen to us for once.

People saying you wont vote. uhh why? this will not negatively effect you in ANY way. Server comes out, we stop complaining for our nostaglia, Jagex gets more money which gets you guys more update and comments. So SHUT UP and vote because this benefits you guys too.

They picked the perfect cutoff point. no complaints there. and the possibility of updates could get us GWD etc.

Starting over fresh. PERFECT. being handed everything would be pointless.. thats why private servers arent as fulfilling and why this will be different. New economy, new start, everyone is the same. Gives us a sense of accomplishment. love that we get our own hiscores too.

People wanting 2008 and everyone complaing about 2010+.. just stop. you never played during this time and you dont know what you are talking about. your arguement is invalid and nobody cares what you think. 2008 was NOT when most players played this game. it was either 06/07 when there was a record 300-500k players on AT ONCE. Just cause this era of RS is HARDER and you arent handed everything and cant AFK every damn skill and you actually have to WORK for your stats doesnt make it crappier.

The vote is my only concern.. 750k is WAY to much and I dont think you should have to be a member to vote.. most of the members dont want this so hows that fair? Im paying to vote but I mean.. either way you will get your money so why not just make it for everyone or at the very least.. a certain total level/X-amount of time a member.

Basically.. this has no negative effect on any of us. WE ALL GET WHAT WE WANT regardless of what you think. So VOTE you have NOTHING to lose only gain. Thank you Jagex for finally listening.
