I think this is a fantastic idea. It should be voted on as soon as possible . It should
should start: IMMEDIATLY AFTER ALL PLAYERS THAT STARTED IN CLASSIC ARE GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO PLAY CLASSIC AGAIN.

If it wasnt for the dedication and support of the players that were faithful paying members of Runescape Classic this game would not even exist today.

What about us?

I dont think people understand what everyone starting fresh would mean...

-no rares in the market
-no mass amounts of resources for skilling
-no weapons armor or runes available
-no money in the economy

that mean high level equipment will be very rare and most items would have to be gathered manually. this also means that pking will be delayed until people start getting higher levels. there is just going to be a lot more grinding than people will be used to.

Play a private server for a bit. Most of those fears turn out of be unfounded rather quickly, from my experience.

Do we really have to start from scratch though? I can't see myself wanting to get all those 99s again. Isn't there a way to keep stats, even if only from that time ?

Will we get to keep our items and stats and bring them to old RuneScape?

If not, please make this an option so we don't have to play 2007 as noobs!!

I know a lot of people would be happy with this update but I'm not. I actually like RS the way it is now. The way I see it, a lot of time and resources are being pooled into this which will lessen updates on the main game. Honestly, I started in '09, so I can't really compare. I'll be abstaining from voting since I believe the game should continue to expand.
