Well well, i check out the runescape site first time in over a year and i come across this!

PLEASE, if you are a member, even if you arent oldskool, vote for this, runescape in august 2007 was NEARLY perfect, i would have preferred a summer 2006 version but cant complain..

HOPEFULLY this will get 750k+ votes although i dont see it happening, i really *ant a free version to be available because i dont feel like starting to pay membership right away when i have to start over fresh.

Im sure if this is implemented MANY oldschool players will come back to check runescape out again but only if theres a free version available too. playing rs since 1976, 40 year vet cape soon

I tend to disagree with this bit - the main attraction of the legacy server for some is that it is before Jagex started throwing XP at the players at every opportunity. Everybody will be starting off the same and it will (for the first time since April 2012) be a level playing field.


The JAG suggestion is good, though - maybe make it compulsory so that people HAVE to sign up to JAG to vote (which can't be a bad thing from a security point of view).

jagex please make it right before eoc cmon u guys. lots of ppl believe that was the golden age. No chaotics or anything in 2007 plus sht graphics. I would also accept just changes to the eoc itself like adding in a special attack bar. I like what u have done with killing monsters but i just want to have fun pking to. Nobody pks anymore in eoc and it was so fun before. i pray to u guys to please just make some changes to the eoc itself. And having to make a whole new acc will take waay to long... i rlly dont wanna do that.

How can you only have 2007 server and not the current? im sure Jagex has all servers i mean they even had Classic server since forever now. why not launch 2011 server? Jagex cant possibly tell us they didnt have a backup plan and just completely deleted 2011 and not 2007...Doesnt make sense, i think they are scared to see the results on the 2011 server. Either way this wont be a Legit poll since MANY players dont have membership. so in order for this to be Accurate Jagex would have to make the poll count for f2p and p2p.
