With the new po** about 2007scape and the poll, the post seems gleaming with the idea that this is Jagex listening to the community, you're not listing to us with this Poll idea.. you're insulting us.

750k Is an impossible number to reach if its members only**** has less then 200k active human subscribers right now(estimated).. the only way old school players who Jagex claims they want back can help in this.. is to subscribe and buy membership just to vote.. that is very WRONG in my eyes, perhaps you should allow former members to vote and not just active ones?

The lower vote options just seem like a blatant money grab, while i understand 2007 servers would come with costs... the extra money requires to play on 2007 seems unfair.

And lastly, as much as i would like RS to be like is was back in 2007.. i think the majority of players would be happy to just roll back Pre-Eoc... why is this not an option? No need to go back to 2007, most would be happy with the game if it went back to Pre-Eoc.

Frankly that post seemed quite insulting and seems like Jagex has no genuine intention of listing to the playerbase at all.

In answer to everyone who posts this:

"The Voting Rights Act of 1965 is a landmark piece of national legislation in the United States that outlawed discriminatory voting practices...
Echoing the language of the 15th Amendment, the Act prohibits states from imposing any "voting qualification or prerequisite to voting, or standard, practice, or procedure ... to deny or abridge the right of any citizen of the United States to vote"(W*kipedia).

Dear Jagex, How can you allow members to vote, and not those who have paid for membership for years? Are you thus discriminating against our opinions in hope that this will not be brought back? Jagex is not giving everyone a fair chance to vote, not only that, but those who get to vote are only of 200,000 or less. Now what makes you think all of them are going to vote Yes? Not all of them are in favor of Old Runescape. Please Jagex give your loyal players a chance to vote. This is not fair for everyone and you guys know it.

I don't care if they don't abide by the U.S. laws, how is this *air in any way?
Give the players a chance to express their opinions without paying to vote!!

Is Jagex that concerned about getting memberships? If they just released the game, didn't waste peoples time to vote then people would spend money and buy the membership. What fun will it be if EVERYONE is a member? I miss the old F2P days, but I guess its going to be just P2P."

If free to play players could vote, one person could just make 750k accounts for free and vote yes on all of them, they would have to pay 6 million dollars to get that many member accounts to vote on. I'm not saying someone would actually make all those accounts but they might make like 50, which would be 50 votes from 1 person. Few people are going to spend money to get a few more members accounts just for a few votes. Also, MMG said if there was overwhelming support, which there is, 750k would be reached. If they open it to F2P it will be like attempt #1 on free trade vote
