I am hopelessly confused. I DO NOT want to start over. I have been member since 2005 and finally, about a month before the EOC, I got my slayer cape. There is no way I want to "start over" from scratch and lose all of my hard work.

So, if starting over is the only option, then, I might as well quit now and not go through the grief of voting to return to RS2.

You need to let us take all of our hard work and items we have gained over to the old servers. Please clarify this situation before the vote starts!

You would be better off if you returned the main game to before EOC and create a few servers for EOC. I guarantee you you would have loads of players sign back up that way. We never wanted EOC and don't want it now!

I'm happy for those that wanted an 'old' server, however this does nothing for me and many others. I simply wanted a PRE-EOC 2012 server to play the game I've played for years.

I think Jagex should have used a Pre-EOC 2012 version and implemented some of the qualities that the PK'ers and old school players wanted. This would have gained back almost all of their lost players.

Ahh well, I suppose my account is truly dead now and she will remain frozen in
time..... :(

The Voting Rights Act of 1965 is a landmark piece of national legislation in the United States that outlawed discriminatory voting practices...
Echoing the language of the 15th Amendment, the Act prohibits states from imposing any "voting qualification or prerequisite to voting, or standard, practice, or procedure ... to deny or abridge the right of any citizen of the United States to vote"(W*kipedia).

Dear Jagex, How can you allow only paying players at the moment voting rights, and not those who have paid for membership for years? Are you thus discriminating against our opinions in hope that this will not be brought back? Jagex are not giving everyone a fair chance to vote, not only that, but those who get to vote are only of 200,000 or less. Now what makes you think all of them are going to vote Yes? Not all of them are in favor of Old Runescape. Please Jagex give your loyal players a chance to vote. This is not fair for everyone and you guys know it.

I don't care if they don't abide by the U.S. laws, how is this fair in any way?
Give the players a chance to express their opinions without paying to vote!!

Is Jagex that concerned about getting memberships? If they just released the game, didn't waste peoples time to vote then people would spend money and buy the membership. What fun will it be if EVERYONE is a member? I miss the old F2P days, but I guess its going to be just P2P.

They aren't American, they are from the UK so they'd have different laws over there.

This is absolutely amazing. I can't believe this is happening. I have wanted this for so long!!! This DEFINITELY has my vote, if the following question is answered in the way I hope it will be.

One question though...

PLEASE READ:

When I log into the 2007 game(assuming it goes live) will my stats be as they are now? Say.... I have 92 Firemaking. When I log into the 2007 game will my Firemaking be 92?

I hope that this will be the case, as I believe that many will not have interest(including me) if we have to start a completely new account. These days people are often trying to level up their skills a lot, and I think having to start fresh on the different server would cause there to be a lot less interest.
