@Im Lifeforce: I was about to post my same concerns, thank you for saving me a few minutes of typing. =P

@Submarines: Jagex probably has a pretty good idea of how many people would pay for membership to put forward a vote for this to happen, something tells me they're aiming for the $5 monthly mark.

$15 monthly seems a bit much for how little content will be available as opposed to what's offered to players now, *5 seems a little more reasonable, but I wouldn't be paying that to play the game.

It seems like it would be a good thing for my leisure, but I've ascended too far in the current game to want to go back to 2007 completely, which is what I think a good portion of other people would probably feel too. So it brings up thoughts that people may not be as into the game at a later time of its release.

Jagex I consider your proposal almost exactly like a politician would place it. You guys knowing full and well that when this community hit 200million players , most of it was from a serious bot related problem, followed by a years worth of anti bot action(war waged memorably by Optimus and his team). That being said the most ppl I've seen online while playing was never under 750k/and at most 940k in those years. But here we are in 2013 and a large portion of the sleepy community, faded away losing faith as most of us have. You want members to vote to make it "legit", b/c ppl can just make new accounts, and in the process rake in the cash. It seems less profitable to just look how old the account is, and how active it was...... sigh. But I am a fool b/c I loved the game I played back in those days, and I'll be contributing for you payed vacations, new vehicles, and whatever entices you b/c I'll turn my members back on just for a vote. IF BY CHANCE A MOD SEE'S THIS AND YOU LOVE THE GAME YOU WORK ON PLEASE DO WHAT YOU CAN TO TRY AND BRING IN GWD**** UPATE, QUEST, AND GRAPHICS TO THE GAME PLOX.

Silly Jagex, how do you expect to get 750,000 votes if most of your "veteran" players all quit and became F2P? And some of them even quit and left the game as a whole.
I honestly don't care about the roll back but most of the people that actually want this project to succeed are the F2P'ers.
So is this another one of your 'get-rich-quick' schemes? I think so.
Sure, alot of current F2P'ers turned P2P when they read what you just said, but it's definitely not enough to get 750K upvotes.
What about letting ex-P2P'ers vote too? I'm not going to pay a penny until this problem is fixed.

///Also, you guys should make a counter like the 200M (supposedly) Players, but with upvotes this time, or just some way to keep up with the votes.///

Guys omg Jagex, I'm renewing my membership again 100% lol all I've been playing sorry to say this but is 2006 servers with my mates but omg if this is successfull guys :D Im telling all my friends to leave that and renew our memberships and play some rs omg Jagex is awesome, they finally listen to us <3. I'll never forget this thread ;) .
