i saw this and got really excited about old servers but tbh i would love it if we had servers from 2011 before EOC was installed. also it took me a long time to get my character where he is now like all my 99s and armour and quests ive done and i really dont want to restart as a level 3 and grind just to get my character back up to what it used to be

8) kinda will miss the GE. I definately didn't miss sitting in the bank for an hour and a half repeatedly typing "Buying (item), (amount)" until someone gets annoyed and finally trades me.

Dam Catl: yes, an additional monthly fee on top of regular membership, for those who want access to the 2007 servers. However this also depends on the poll, as the higher levels of support would not have an additional charge.

Jagex is a business, and when launching an additional service we need to be confident that it will generate enough revenue to be commercially viable. This is why we’re gauging interest only from paying players. As you’ll see in the poll targets, if there are enough poll votes from members, we will open the 2007 service to free players too. Please be aware that only proper members, and not trialists, can vote.

Thank you Jagex for listening to the community. I am not a PKer but I know alot of people that only liked the PKing part of the game. So for them I will vote yes. And of course a bit for myself to go back in the good old times ^_^

I just wanted to put my own word out there about this. I have been playing Runescape for around 7-8 years, and I grew up playing it. I feel like I am different than a lot of the community though because I throughly enjoyed the 'old' Runescape and now enjoy the 'new' EoC Runescape. I used to be a member, but I personally don't have the money to pay for it lately, but I have been here forever it feels like. I personally believe people shouldn't try to put down Jagex for charging for things because all in all the money from members and micropayments pay the bills which keep the servers online, so we can keep playing. The game before was "old school", yet it was still a lot of fun, but things weren't as balanced and were a lot harder to do back then, and we always had problems with botters too. The EoC Runescape has great graphics, a bot-catching system, and better balanced combat in most areas though it doesn't feel as homey and comfortable as the old Runescape. The old Runescape holds deep meaning to me cause it reminds me of when me and all my friends would get together and go on quests to slay demons and just help each other out and have fun, but things were tougher for us back then. I remember that it was hard to earn money since one time me and my friends all got together and mined, chopped wood, fought monsters, fished, and ect, yet we still only got like 100-300k if that. Now, I am one of the only ones out of my friend that still gets on at all it seems, but now it is easier to do anything on here which makes life for me on the game cooler. The community has changed over the years, and I think everyone misses the old community cause there was a kind of family feel to it back in the old days. When I first started, some random guy ran up, and gave me some good armour, a weapon, and food and tools to get me started. Now, it is more likely to get scammed out of the bronze sword you got in the tutorial. It isn't a problem with the game. It's a problem with the folks.

You all asked for 2006 - 2007 servers.

Seems JaGex took you to heart found a time in 2007 to take you all back to your Nostalgia. I personally just want a Pre EoC game take me back to Nov 1st 2012. I'll be very happy tyvm.

thank you for finaly doing this... my time on the game has gradualy dwindled over the last few years to the point were i spend more time on private servers than on runescape. i could not be happier to see these servers come to life <3

after reading this update i got so exited i loaded up RS for the first time in weeks... that lasted about 15 mins....
very exited about this though but i got a few suggestions...
~vote is "yes" or "no" but a choice of server from say... 2006-2009
(PLEASE put a choice saying "rollback to the day before eoc" just to see...might be suprised :P )
~keep all xp, levels, quest items, and completed quests of the time
~whipe all but 1m from all accounts and itll be fun to see whos the first fishy of the new server hahaha
but just thinking of it you have so many oppertunities to do just plain fun things for the community..... reintroduce the rares we all love just back in 2001... possobly even just turn this into a privite server type operation (change levels on comand, own all items at start...ect... ect..ect..) do things to this server that you wanted to do to the main server but decided not to.... or even just make some crazy things that would never be in RS ex- instead of some dumb quest to get a hat, all swords in rs look like lightsabers or bows look like guns. just thought of this while typing that sentence someone need to make.......(wait for it)...................... RSCOD version brnz gun sttel gun rune gun bandos machine gun armadyl sniper haha just some rambling..... but yea totally down for old rs back
IM NOT PAYING ANYMORE THAN 20$/YR FOR YOU TO PLUG SOMETHING IN AND CLICK DOWNLOAD.
