I seriously just talked about this with a friend yesterday. Seriously Jagex, this needs to happen. I don't know one friend who wouldn't want a Runescape classic. I'd keep paying my membership for a very long while, until i go to college, possibly even further. I don't like the idea of additional membership fee, though. I just hope you awesome guys over at Jagex can make this happen.

I'm very glad to see that Jagex has made the decision to make old servers of Runescape, so that many of us who opposed the EoC can enjoy the game! Many of us (veteran players) started playing Runescape during this time and i'm sure that it will bring back a lot of nostalgic memories for us. This update will allow us to start out fresh with the knowledge we have acquired over the many years. I fully understand that nothing will ever be the same as it was before, we won't have the exact same feelings as we did when this game was new, fresh, and even unknown to us. But with the re-establishment of 'Old Runescape', i'm sure that you will see a huge fluctuation in the number of players that are presently playing. I'm not trying to say that the EoC is bad and in any way or that it should be taken out of the game! I agree that that it should still be Jagex's main focus and hope that now we will all be happy and 'Get what we want' so to speak! This game has been with me for many years and I hope that it will be there for many more! Thanks you Jagex for listening to us and allowing us to play the game we truly love! :D -Dan Out

to all the people saying that they dont want to start from scratch well look at it this way the game is in desperate need of a restart the economy is soo screwed up right now because of the sof and bots dumping resources into the game for years. a completereset means the economy in the 2007 serever will be strong for years and wont be ruining in a couple of months from people flooding the market right when it starts. i for one am in support of a restart on the 2007 servers and would gladly grind back up my skills.

to the people who say they are voting no.... why would you vote no its not affecting you in the slightest. you will still be able to play the current runescape if you choose but why try and deny those tiers for the people that really want it. you gotta be pretty selfish to vote no on the poll.

i for one refuse to give jagex money for the current version of the game due to the microtransactions i refuse to support it. but when 2007 servers come back if tier 3 or 4 i will gladly start playing again paying full membership price and not my old grandfathered $5 price. so vote yes for the old vets who cant vote even if you dont care about 2007 servers.
