i just have some questions about the 2007 servers. so will it be completely different servers? so its basically a different game in the fact my character of 9 years will be useless witch i would be alright with if i was going to play the new servers regularly but i am worried about our servers atm we will loose alot of players because they will move to the new servers we will loose nearly all of the youtubers this will get rid of 99% of runescapes advertisement this will also lead to alot of people leaving this will have a dramatic affect on the economy leading to more players leaving and then alot of people will be comparing the two games in the fact that one could have a massive advantage in one area or there will be one part of one game that people want in the other and then you will end up with *2007 servers* that basically become pre eoc servers i am all for bringing back nostalgic moments bringing back pvp ect but i think nostalgic moments are nostalgic because they are in the past its the hole you want what you cant have

i think what is needed is just updating the pvp mechanics

some ideas i have are reduced player vs player damage so that battles arnt as frantic and its more on well timed abilities

also if we had a momentum only area that had maybe an affect like the stone op jad so in wildy momentum does a little more damage or it does a little more damage and you can use a special ability every 2 minutes or something

i think what the problem with runescape pvp atm is that eoc was mainly aimed for pve and in my opinion jagex did an awsome job with pve but pve is more about dps (damage per second ) so putting out as much damage as you can to kill bosses quickly where as pvp is about doing big damage at certain times so we do need two different game mechanics for pve and pvp

as much as i dislike EOC..and I DO!!..i will not pay more money to play 2007 RS if I have to give up my current account levels or bank..I will not pay more money to start from scratch..why not EOC and non EOC servers..we all pay the same amount..EOC skills do not crossover and work on NON EOC worlds..just like members and non members..

DO NOT further punish those who did not want your changes in the first place

im about to cry, athough im not sure that it is the most brilliant ideas, most of my veteran friends tell that the problem is not the graphics nor the new quests, the problem was actually the EOC and solomon´s shop, besides the one we all know and hate squeal of fortune, im glad that you hear the players, not sure if jagex has woke up or just gehard has returned.
Well im glad to see that it is changeing in such a good way though EOC is not out of the way it is a change which im sure we all will be glad to see it realized.
