secondly i don't think there are 750k people playing this.in fact I believe I know that as fact ..if there is that would be everyone, including bots..so there is no way in hell there will be 750k votes...hence, and you know this and I know this..there will be a price increase to go back to playing what the absolute majority want..pre EOC.In reallity it would seem fairer to ask the EOC crowd to pay more and restore the rest of us to the game we joined.

Third Are yu saying everything in my account of 9 years is worth nothing..and I start from scratch?????..please clarify because while i liked leveling..I have ABSOLUTELY no desire to do EVERYTHING all over again.I have played for 5 years since 2007 and pre oec..I do not know why I should be punished for that...I will quit..

ALSO there are LOT of people who have quit..I think the fact they quit should count for something...vote wise...but I know you wont'' because it won't raise revinue...keep solomon in the pre eoc..who cares if it means not raising money on us

BTW what happpens to all the equipment we had that we changed to accommodate EOC..many of us took a financial beating and sold of previuosly "good" stuff and bought "good EOC gear..or at least the best we could afford..there are alot of variables..
Why can you just keep everything as it is now..and have whatever percent vote for the change be converted to the equivalent servers..you had PVP and non PVP worlds..why cant you simply do the same here?

Yesyesyesyes!!! Okay. A couple key points. First off, I'd like to extend a huge thank you to the Jagex crew for even considering this. I've been in full support of a project like this for awhile. While yes, I'd prefer a 2006 version, I also completely understand why that would not be feasible. So if 2007 is the best available, more power to you.

I'd also like to add a suggestion into the mix. Understanding that you are a business, and as much as we may not like it, revenue is the most important thing for any business, I can *** where you are coming from when you make the vote members only. But I'd like to suggest a free player poll as well, just so you can see how many new members you might receive were this to happen. Also, what about ex-members who terminated their payments because they grew unhappy with the game past this point? I was a member back in 2007 (not on this account though. I don't even remember which account) and I'd be more than happy to pay the membership again to go back to 2007. But as a free player now, I cannot officially give you my input as you are allowing the members to*

**;dr Great going Jagex. Thank you for at least attempting to implement our feed back. But free players CAN make up a portion of your incoming revenue, if pay as much attention to us as your current members. I was a member then, and I would do it again for 2007, so any money that I WOULD put into it should also allow me to vote and voice my opinion.

And many people I see are also complaining about starting over, and losing their stuff. You don't lose anything. You get a separate character in new server

Also, those of you who are members and are able to vote, please do. Even if its not something that you personally support or look forward to, it would be 5 seconds of your busy day to help out hopefully at least the 750k others who do, with no ill effect towards yourself. And if you started playing after 2007, and are a member, you won't want to miss this. I guarantee it

As a current Runescape member, for over 5 years now, I would first like to extend an enormous thank you to Jagex. For years now I have been pushing for an update such as this, to bring back memories as to why I fell in love with Runescape in the first place. Agreeing with Onlinefreak5, I feel that there should be a Free-To-Play voting poll. Many of my friends that I played with in the past cancelled their subscriptions because they were not pleased with some of the updates. I feel like if you were able to see their point of view, it would make this decision easier. Not only would their memberships for this vintage style game create more of a profit for the company, but it would also expand the game and make it more enjoyable for everybody. However, whether you decide to let them vote or not, I am excited to see what happens. I have been dreaming about this day, and once again, thank you, Jagex!

4. vote for the old servers

when the wildy poll was official you got a 1.4mill votes wich u didnt belive before it was official you did not like it because you saw 1.4mill accounts were against your stupid idea to remove it. I know its hard to accept for you to admit that you made a mistake but you kept doing it and we showed you just again to dont mess it up or you will lose all your players.

for the official wildy poll you needed to have the account created some weeks befor the poll came out why dont you do that now? u know there are not even close to 500. 000 members now and u know we wont get close to 750k u just trying to help your self out and say ye we gave you the chance to vote but we cant help you guys didnt.

another way of milking our money very smart :)

I'd think there are a lot more of us whining about EOC in general than any PK stuff. So to me this feels more like a slap in the face, a "we are pretending to be listening but actually, *bleep* you, players."

As a consequence the voting for this update will not measure what Jagex wants to know. In the last few hours I have heard various reactions to the 2007 server, and various reasons why friends will vote yes, or no. Ironically, absolutely ZERO of them want to play it - they just want their votes to send a message. It seems unlikely that Jagex will hear it.

Runescape 2011 would be a top seller for me.
