People need to read the thread before they get on here and complain.

1.) 2007 is the ONLY VERSION THEY COULD FIND. anything is better than EOC so stop complaining about that.

2.) Everyone will start fresh. So stop asking about bringing stats and Items over. It is best for the economy and I think it will be tons of fun to start again. New chance at leaders on the high-scores!

3.) Why are there people asking for a no option? It is not going to affect the main game so if you don't want it just don't vote I mean wow...

All of 1,2, and 3 are in the thread so read before you post!

Just vote people its what we have be wanting. An old version. ANY OLD VERSION. Them more people that vote the more of a chance we have to see updates as well!

This is incredibly touching.

I just canceled my Runescape membership but I think I'll renew it now.

2007 is the year I first made my account. This honestly brings joy to me that Runescape hasn't given me for a long time. Thank you for giving us this opportunity.

More people played during the vote for the free-trade update. EVEN MORE people were allowed to vote (non-members). I don't see how that's even trade-off for 500k people (750k votes compared to 1.2m votes). Are there even 750,000 members? Are the 750,000 members active enough to vote? Honestly, I don't see this thing getting past 200k. This means all the veterans will have to get membership for the CURRENT Runescape game JUST TO VOTE. This is clearly Jagex's intention, to suck out even more money from the community, but hey if it works I'm all for it. I just don't want people being ripped off ($15+/m or signing up to vote and not have it be worth a damn). I'd be glad if this thing got 500k+, when I see it winding down and it's not enough I'll just do what jagex intended for me to do and sign up to vote.
