So in order to vote I need to be a member. I quit membership just so that you guys couldn't get my money because of how you changed the game that I and most all of runescape loves.
Now in order to vote I have to become a member once again? There is only 75k people playing the game, most of them are bots, a lot are F2P and the other small percent of the players are actual playing members.
The only reason why you guys have the levels of voters is because you want to make money off the community. Basically the whole runescape community has to vote to make this update happen, and that will only be level 1 of the voting. That means $15 more a month on top of the old membership. $22 a month.
We also have to start fresh... which means that all of the effort people put into their accounts are gone. My pure is gone, and if its like back then it'll take months in order to train my account to get 99 strength, not including the other skills that would make a good pking account.
The updates are all gone also, which means no Chaotic weaponry, no Grand Exchange, no Tokhaar-Kal cape, No master quests, Depending on when in August no friends chat, and no Corp or Nex. The only good update is godwars which back then the ags wasn't nerfed so it hit accurately and high, but it also cost about 150m-200m
So why did you receive 1.4m votes for Return of the wildy? simple answer, F2P players that canceled their membership because they were furious of the update. Kind of like myself in this situation.
Why would people vote for this update if there are more negatives than positives? The community is very **rong and want this update, but do you think that 750k people are going to pay $5 for their account to be a member again so they can play old runescape? Answer: YOU DONT EVEN HAVE 750K MEMBERS! So how do you expect the vote quarry to reach that high?
This is almost like the SOF... members pay extra money to get items they want, but in the long run... is it really worth it?
