You know, guys, I doubt they even HAVE data on items and stats from that far back... Retaining them for long periods of time seems like it would be a waste of server space, since they would never use it from that far back.

great idea, currently i stopped playing since the game has become weird ... in 2007 tough game was great, but maybey a complete reset of items in the game is better (tough a lot of people will rage).

dang 288 pages in 1 day?

This indicates to me that Jagex is in panic mode.

Just fix the EOC so it reflects some of the older game.

Also tattoo the words "DO NOT PANIC" across the fore heads of the management team as a reminder not to pursue knee jerk reactions.

This is not rocket science.

Let me start you off.

Change the runes needed to cast spells back.
Fix the stupid non hit rates on several monsters
Good armour and weapons is too expensive. The average player has no chance.
The average solo players have little chance in killing bosses.
Rare drops are too rare.
Effergies are too rare.
Stop giving away free exp.
