For those of us that may have purchased Gold Membership for reasons beyond enjoying EoC and all it has to offer, or in support of EoC, I would like to ask if there will be a Beta version of pre-EoC servers, should the polls prove successful.

I would also like to point out that many of us may have purchased the Gold Membership not so much because we enjoyed the EoC in it's current state, but because we had faith that Jagex would either do some serious fixing to the game, and/or set things right for the tens of thousands of disgruntled customers upon the release of the premature (but still fantastic idea) EoC.

Will there be any sort of time period for those of us that purchased the Gold Members package to sort of convert a portion of our EoC 1 year members to membership for the new servers?

Example: 10 months of Gold Membership package remaining. Convert 5 EoC months of members to 5 RS2 server membership months.
End result: 5 months of membership on both.

I think it would be an awfully decent gesture to the portion of the community that was disgruntled, yet kept the peace having faith that Jagex would make things right once more.

I just have to say that the thread about 06 - 07 servers is a big disapointment for me (my opinion). It would be great to enjoy the game like back in the times when I grew up, when you explored the hole "world" etc.

But now there are a new community and sutch, and if we look on the "pvp" side of the game it would be great to have servers from maybe 2010 to pre-EoC because you had more options to chose between, like more mage armor to brid with and more.. with the skilling and questing part of the game I don't think it makes any sense if it is 07 or 2012.
If Jagex will start up 06 - 07 servers iI think (personaly) they will be full for like 2 - 3 weeks and then start to fade away...

This was just my opinions about this thread, please don't rage or anything just discuss below.

Yet, when someone tries to help out by placing them in a categorical thread for a J-mod's viewing, it is instantly locked and the forum mod didn't even read it.

This is unexpected, and while I for my part like the "modern" RS a lot (for the most part - lukewarm at most for the Eoc, and the SoF not at all), I like the idea of having a "neoclassic" RS for the nostalgic.

Even more, I like the new clear, precise, down-to-Earth, matter-of-fact-we-are-a-business style of communication here. Direct honesty instead of cheesy marketing rhetoric.

For me, that alone is already worth a few extra quid. Progress! :-)

What happened to caring about your player base? Yes a vast majority want the old servers back but your going to milk all of your fanbase to do it? Seriously 750k votes? I say we break 250k at most and that still comes with $5 extra a month. There once was a time the company cared about it's fanbase more than how they could squeeze more money out of them. Old school servers or not I'm done with Jagex.
