Huh... so, everyone starting over means no rares? Those were a pretty big part of the '07 economy, particularly at the duel arena.

didn't want 2007 rs...just wanted microtransactions and eoc gone...going 2007 would bring back the ol power inbalance of that time...and there wouldn't be some actually good fixes from b4 loyalty shop...add the no-updates...sigh, hard choice...would we have our gear from main game passed onto 2007 or it would be a clean start?

I have mixed feelings about this. I would like to spend some time walking around the old world, but I don't see myself going there regularly.

There would be so many small fixes and things that would be missing. Usability stuff.
But I would like to experience the old sprites, models and sounds.

Starting over might be interesting.

LOL, the RS Community are definitely without a doubt on target for 300 pages of posts on this thread by midnight (today), perhaps everyone could pull-off a 400 pages of posts (a little more ambitious, but definitely possible at this rate). If you can't be a pencil to write anyone's happiness, then try to be a nice eraser to remove someone's sadness.

I just have a few concerns for this. For example:

Why won't you support the anti bot system?

Why won't you update the game like having The Fight Kiln with the TokHaar-Kal

Why do we have to start fresh if you can just copy the player files and remove all null items (i.e. Drygore etc)?


And my favorite that I have been waiting for because it is such a pain to me, will you bring the quest tab back?

This is awesome!! But just one question...

Will we get to keep our items and stats and bring them to old RuneScape?

If not, please make this an option so we don't have to play 2007 as noobs!!

Finally Jagex, you listen to what people want.

I like the idea bringing RS07 back, but the 15$ is to pricey for membership in my opinion. 15$ because I doubt that we're getting even somewhere near to 75k votes or more...

Still, I'm glad that you made decision like that and respect for late nights working!
