I'd like some questions answered if possible Jagex (or anybody who knows the answers) I'll be checking this thread for a reply for the next hour or so but if i miss it these questions may deserve to go into the FAQ

1) What will happen to Discontinued items?
- Personally i hope they won't exist in this server, but will there be a way of distributing them fairly?

2) New accounts; Name sniping
- I've been going under my name for the past 3 years now. If i have to make a new account, does this give somebody the opportunity to beat me to it and take the name that i rightly own and then exist as an imposter of me, whereas i'm forced to take a new name.

3) Old accounts' Legacy's
- Old accounts such as Zezima, Elvemage, Kids Ranqe. Will you disallow the taking of other players names that have been remembered over the years?

4) Banned accounts
- Account names that are banned such as Cursed You and Durial321, will these names stay unavailable?


As a more off topic question - Would you ever consider implementing PvP worlds for a 2007 based server, that would be the most insanely amazing game experience possible i believe :P

I think this is great! I started playing in 2007 and became a member shortly after. I haven't always agreed with some of the more recent updates but if we are going to maybe get a chance of something alot of vetern players want then that gets my vote. Everyone gets a choice of game they want to play, however people won't have read the main news correctly and want other versions even tho you have stated why cos the backups changed etc.....

Big thumbs up from me....even if I have to start from fresh I will be voting YES!!!!

first of all your asking a lot, like 250,000 and we also get addition members fee, your not being realistic; Don't get me wrong i'm so happy to just get "my" game back, but 250,000 is more that your player base right now, its at between 72,000 - 85,000. Another thing, why are you keeping the E.O.C? yeah, "some" people like it but most don't. Just scrap it, everyone makes mistakes and you admit you made one. So lets forgive and forget and bring back the game we love, without the additional fee, because, to be honest 2007 RuneScape was good but no one wants to pay like near £150 per year to play the game, like a years subscription to Xbox LIVE is only £40 something, so please just bring back the game we love, to be honest i would mind if I lost my account like back all level 1 stats, and i know that Alkan a maxed player with near 200m skills said he would go back to level 1 skills just to play his game, so stop milking your community like some cash cow and just give us are damn game back. Please i'm begging you just bring it back to a time where it was loved by all and hated by none.

If anything I said was inaccurate its probably not that far from the truth.
