Old School RuneScape Anyone?

Just as I thought RuneScape is going back into the good direction again, I was reminded of the fact this is still NewScape, and Mod Mark Gerhards only interest is the money of every player.
I know alot of my friends that wanted to vote in the poll to reach that 750k, but JaGeX's explaination was that the priority lies with the members. Understandable, but it you want to make the service completely free with 750k anyway, why are no f2p-people supporting that.. if anyone catches my drift.
I would have appreciated if I could have voted, because I've been a member for over 4 or 5 years, but now quit.
If the Poll was free to anyone, why not plugin a IP-tracker to counter any extra accountmaking for the poll, the poll would have reached over 1,5million. No doubt.
JaGeX was planning people would get member again just to vote for this, and now staying member for playing old school servers.
I think I can say the old days are now officially a thing of the past. The old servers are revived, but the feeling died, along wih the old wildy, introduction of the GE and the new graphics back in 2007.
