And whey, there is a BIG problem if they gave us items or stats back again, it would be unfair, so i think they are making the right choice, and who knows, starting from scratch should be pretty fun
, Alot of competition with other players.
Hi
Brian Anthoy
,
Agreed. It will be more competitive from the beginning
Already have plans how you are going to build up your character?
i find that runescape classic was abit too far back, i find that 2009 would have to be the best year, but i love the fact that everyone has to start again equally since everyone just cares for being the richest ingame with is not what the game is made for, EXP all the wayy!!!!!
imo: it will be ok, but everyone is soo use to the current system that we have now with trading and all that stuff ( player interactions ) apart from pvm/pvp etc.
@Mod Phoenix Defenedly Getting Runecrafting up as soon as posible and do heroes quest for the glory amulets rest i dont care about as long as i can oldschool runecraft
(NO MORE ZMI RUNECRAFTING YAY) OLD SCHOOL RULEZZZ

Hi phoenix, And yes i do. I think my best bet would be to start fletching arrowshafts and then sell them to the general store, they sell for a decent amount in large quantities, and since there is no coins in the game, it will be a good boost to help buy full iron ect. I plan to then start slayer and doing alot of combat, this way i can get all of the rarer drops people will be desperate to have, like rune boots, granite mauls ect.
, Ill still but giving it alot of thought throughout the coming weeks but i think i have a good plan.
And also to the people who keep complaining, be grateful that jagex is doing this for us, a time to rebuild our community and all become close again, i consider it an honor to be able to relive my childhood again on 07 servers
.

As you're about, would you mind also passing on my suggestion from page 1636? In essence, I'm saying that people who only want to play the '07 servers should have the option to pay just for them, not for the existing version of RuneScape. So if it got to 'level 2', where it costs an additional £3.20/$5 to play 2007 servers, maybe allow veterans to pay £3.20/$5 for 2007 servers, and remain free-to-play on 2013 RuneScape? I think it would be great idea economically, both for players, and for Jagex. I doubt players will be prepared to pay large amounts of money if they ONLY want to play 2007 servers.
Previous members should be allowed to vote too.
I was a member for many years, with about 150 days played, and would LOVE to play on the old servers.
However, forcing me to resubscribe purely to vote for something which may or may not come back is just a money grab attempt, which is something which drove me away from the game in the first place.
Honestly, im sick of people thinking all runescape is, is having the biggest bank and hopefully they can eventually bring back the G.E back then to wen it 1st came out and put back the trade limit system but still keep the wilderness or introduce the BH system!
Like you, 2009 was my favourite year too! A pre-2010 server would hit the nail on the head for me. It had all the features I loved added, none of the disappointing new content, and the community was just right.
EDIT: Also, on the point about "having the biggest bank", I completely agree! Amongst many things, greed has killed the community, and was part of what killed the game for me. The game is about having fun, socialising with players, training skills and doing quests together; actually talking to people whilst skilling. Back when I quit, you'd have a couple of human players to talk to if you were lucky. Back when I was getting my 99 fishing, I could play all day, and constantly have lots of people to talk to. It used to be great!

They brought it back that far, due to the last saved backup of the game and since the G.E is hard to manage already so having double to do requires more staff and money!
