This would be brilliant!

I've logged on quite a few times and ended up just standing there wondering what to do, then logging off.

Hopefully this will re-inspire me to get 200m Agility xp as I've been sat on 56m for quite a long time now :)

Jagex, you should invest in your game and not let the results of a meaningless poll determine your decision. The number 750,000 is completely arbitrary and unrealistic. Furthermore, a majority of the players that are interested do not vote because they do not feel that it is worth becoming a member just to vote. MMG said about votes: 'even if you don't intend to use it I think that's a nice thing to do for your friends.' That implies that you do not even care about getting an accurate estimate of the number of interested players, but only about getting a lot of meaningless votes.

Adding free servers is essential for the growth of the game; it is the best way to attract new players. Charging an additional fee will most likely result in a lower profit due to the lower number of interested players.

My advice: do it right and invest from the very start. Botch this and the servers and maybe even your company will be doomed to fail.

The servers would take place in the time of August 10, 2007. Godwars wasn't released until the 28th of August, so no. There will be no god swords or claws.

i would really like it if jagex would let us have the same levels us we had in 2007 because it will take a long time for me to level up to the levels i had then and will also take me another 4-5 yr to get them levels so i would really hope if jagex let us have the same levels we had then. Also i would like jagex to update the 07 server by letting us vote on which update we want in the timeline that it was updates in 2007 such as we have a vote on the 'GWD' if we want it update on the server or not. This will give the players a chance to enjoy the game and inform jagex which updates they would like in-game.

jagex could let the players who had an account in 2007 stay on the levels they were at 2007 or just let everyone have the same levels they have on the main game.

Hey,

I have read that Runescape 2007 only will be for f2p when there are 750k votes or more... Jagex, please think realistic, it's already a miracle when it reaches 700k votes, or even 600k member votes.

Why wouldn't you make Runescape 2007 for f2p and p2p when it's released, then the rules are the same, no membership needed to play rs2007.

And if it is so that Jagex only care about $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$(money), than I don't get it why Rs2007 isn't for non-members too, because :

More people playing Rs2007 -> Members enjoy it more, because more friends -> members go pay for longer membership durations -> jagex makes $$

Thanks
