I quit/cancelled membership with EoC. Started playing in '01. Would DEFINITELY buy membership again with this update but I am not buying it to vote. Not enough information has been given for me to go out on a limb like that. I don't even play F2P, I hate the new mechanics.

What I read is this. " We might do this really cool update if a lot of people vote for it. We also really want all you old 'Vets' to come back because we have been listening to what people want. So just reinstate that membership to vote and you might get it. =) "

"Level 1" is also unacceptable.

I do hope that enough people vote to bring it back with full support from Jagex and it goes exactly how it should. Restores the game to what I would still consider 'normal.' My membership would be reinstated there and then.

Much gratitude and thanks for the thought in everyone's interest in this, MMG.
To bad it's another manipulated marketing ploy though. A very poorly thought out one at that.

My suggestion, your data and stats will start over on legacy remake 2007 server while your data and stats will retain on a current Runescape after post-EoC, strictly reserved for future updates and beyond. If it happened, all our data and stats will be wiped out like a Big Rip of the Universe.

We will NOT have our stats wiped out (instead we will have our stats and data in current game maintained for future and beyond) in current game (post-EoC) of RS in the future and beyond, just like other games in MMO. But we will start over new again on new 2007 legacy server, just like RSC legacy did.

i beleive most new players will vote for this, and then want it changed:
their inevitable demands will most likely be as follows,

1.gwd is added
2.glitches patched and balance added to weapons
3.(possibly but not garuanteed) post 2007 skills added
4.(a small ~18% of pro-2007 server devotees will want this one) QBD
5.and the most horrid of all, all post-2007 bosses added and drop rate increased for the first 1-6 months of the server being up to prevent a bcp selling for 500m and nex items going for party hats.(hehehe its not ikely, but you get the idea)
