Any non-members who support this don't actually support this at all.

No matter what when this comes out you will have to buy membership (unless 750k votes and you want to be f2p). Jagex has shown great promise in allowing us to have our first month of 2007scape server membership for free if we vote in the poll. This means, if you vote now you are really paying for the first month of the 2007scape server, not the current game.

If you refuse to pay, you are basically saying "i want 2007 servers for free"

Thanks Jagex for going through will this. Around 2007 was definitely my favorite time playing RuneScape. As always you are showing that you really do care about the opinions of your players.

The only problem I see is that everyone will have to start fresh. I'm sure if there was a way for us to keep our levels in skills that were present at that time you would make that happen, but I suppose it is impossible. Because of this I'm not so sure that I will play on these servers, considering the over 100 days of play time on my account would have all been for nothing essentially.

I can understand that it would be difficult to transfer items over, considering many items in our banks are from after 2007, but there may be a solution to this.

If skill levels could be transferred, perhaps instead of trying to sort through people's items to transfer over, perhaps each account could be given a sort of "starter pack" depending on their skill levels.

For example, if you have 40+ Defence you would start out with a set of rune armor.
40+ Attack and you get a rune longsword. Different things like that in order for us to be able to start making money again.

I have no problem with working for all my money and items again, but it would take years for me to get my skills back to what they are now, and I think I would rather stay on EoC servers than start completely over.
