I played the 06scape private server and instantly got hooked onto it again just because it was such a good game back then, not because of nostalgia. I'm sure some will get bored of it but the majority asking for them back simply want to play the 07 version just because of how good the game was.

For example, there's been many call of duty games but i still only play call of duty 4, not because i'm wearing nostalgia glasses(or however you want to call it) but because it is just a great game and i love playing it. It's the same with Runescape in 2007.

I am for this! I have been playing for many years now on and off, for the past 2 or 3 years I haven't touched the game at all. The last thing I did was hit 99 Woodcutting and do a bit of slayer but it just got stale, there is a non-existent community due to things like the Grand Exchange and they have made leveling up skills much faster and easier which decreases the sense of achievement.

HOWEVER, I hope that they give us the option to resize the game screen. Looking back at the way Runescape used to be played (on such a small game screen) seems a little daunting. I hope they give us the option of having a resizeable window or a full screen option for those with big monitors or those with poor vision (like myself). I must add though, do not misunderstand what I am trying to say. I am not saying they should modify the old graphics, just give us options to change the game screen size as it was very small back in the day and you had to sit very close to your screen to read the text.

Good luck with the voting guys, I will definitely come back if this goes ahead.
