Many people are Displeased with new accounts, even though i doubt they have the account data from back then, it is necessary for them too make everyone start fresh because of the following reasons.

1) People already currently maxed in the current game would be able too kill higher leveled content while lower leveled players have too slave away at slower training methods too reach that level of PVM/Skilling.

2) not everyone had accounts back then.

3) it would require alot of filtering of Chaotics and other new items for them too code a correct program/whatever its called, algorithm maybe?

4) It would ruin the whole new starting experience that alot of people have been asking for, even if they start a new account, having other people doing high end stuff wouldn't really make it all the great.

do you have any idea how much data they would have to save? everytime you log out of the game they would have to save ALL your data, and then save it for years. it would take so much storage that they would need a building just for the back up data.

they only save your data for a day or three, in case of roll backs, but more than that would take up too much storage devices. frankly my dear, I couldn't give a dam. never had a river to build one on.

The Voting starts early/mid noon in Cambridge, thats still 3 hours and 45 minutes away till 12pm for them, which would be the earliest possible it'll start, and i'm sure it'll be big and clear amongst the banner and other various news related posts too find! :)

I think that for the introduction of discontinued items, having them either re-introduced during their respective events.
If starting this is Year 1, then this will feature the first events, and replicate how we actually got them (even though this will take a large amount of years)

OR

Have it so that they are all released in one 'Super Event' where we get to pick 3 items.

OR

Just give them out to players that vote (simply putting them in the inventory)

a poll taken the year of the grand exchange update showed the ge was the most loved update for a long time before. IF there is a vote for an update to be readded, the ge will get a lot of support. A large number of people HATED merchants and never being able to get into world 1 or 2. frankly my dear, I couldn't give a dam. never had a river to build one on.

Throughout various areas of the game we've added the ability to 'make-x' on some more items. This includes a lot of the areas of Cooking such as pie making, pizza making and potato making. It also includes making arrows, potion making, glassmaking, amulet stringing and a number of other areas. You might have noticed that 'make-x' for smithing is missing - do not fear! It is still being worked on and will be brought to you soon.


This was posted after the Pest Control Update, but before the July 2007 Behind The Scenes. So some of them will be there. Around Page 249 - 250 in the Game Updates.
