4. On top of reintroducing the most popular untradable rares, create a world drop for 1 week (with increased odds on the holiday) where all monsters will have a chance to drop the following.

Easter: Easter eggs (uncommon)
Halloween: Pumpkins (uncommon) Masks (rare)
Christmas: Santa hats (Rare) Crackers (Very Rare)

How world drops work:

Instead of 1/100 odds for an uncommon item, such as a easter egg, it's chance of dropping will depend on the npc's combat level. 1/1000 combat level for example, meaning a level 100 npc will have a 10% chance of dropping, and a level 10 man will have a 1 percent chance of dropping*****;- just an example, the real thing will be rarer but same idea.

This idea is the best in my opinion because it will reward the dedicated hard working players. Easter may not make it in time due to the time it takes to code in the 07 server, but christmas and halloween hold the BEST the holiday items have to offer; masks, santas, and party hats.

Think about it, the players who put time and effort into the new server will be able to kill higher leveled npcs, increasing their odds of scoring a wearable rare. The players who log on for nostalgia, myself included, will be lower levels and can still get the untradable rares but will have a much lower chance of getting say a partyhat.

There are MONTHS of time to get prepared for something like this and any player would be able to get 70+ combat stats easily within that amount of time if they are serious about the 07 servers. This system will reward the hard working players more than just the lucky ones.

I am voting yes although if everything is wiped I really do not see myself playing as dedicated as I did back in 07. I will play and have fun mainly while I wait for my ports, and log on occasionally as I do with RSC for the memories. I am not a Pker, I am a merchant and quester mainly, so I'll be sticking to EoC.
