Must it be explained to Hallowsickns that we're still a long way from being able to move as expeditiously as possible to operate on today's real—not tomorrow's ideal—political terrain? Because he obviously doesn't realize that he is currently limited to shrieking and spitting when he's confronted with inconvenient facts. Sooner than you think, however, Hallowsickns is likely to switch to some sort of "endow revisionism with a false legitimacy" approach to draw our attention away from such facts. An understanding of the damage that may be caused by his chthonic, improvident protests isn't something I expect everyone to develop the first time they hear about it. That's why I write over and over again and from so many different angles about how Hallowsickns is absolutely mistaken if he believes that war is peace, freedom is slavery, and ignorance is strength.

Me and my real life friends have chats about the good old days of runescape, all the we should have bought this "..." when it was cheap or we should have went bossing more when it was fun or hey u remember that one week we made 100m from barrows? that was an awesome run hahahha.

I am a RuneScape vet and I have never used a bot or even an auto-clicker, and if all you can do is swear at me for saying what I feel should be said then you're arguments are clearly worth 1 gp.

Too all the comments posting about wanting F2P too be able too vote, allowing any F2P account too vote would end in a similar poll as the Wilderness vote, alot of useless accounts will be made and the poll would not be as accurate. However i do agree, alot of higher leveled F2P players should be able too vote if they want, I feel that Jagex could of atleast added a skill level requirement for the F2p. similar too the forums (i can't remember if they still have the old system where you needed 1500 skill total or somewhat too post on the forums/hi scores, forgot which)

Words cannot begin to explain the feeling I got when reading this, it nearly brought a tear to my eye. I immediately picked up the phone and called all my best friends I used to play this game with back in 2007, and to no surprise they were just as excited as I was. I haven't been online to actually play the game since 2007 when the wilderness was removed, but upon logging in this game looks nothing like it used to and I immediately felt lost. I know one vote may not be much, but I am renewing my membership JUST to place a vote in this, as I believe $8 is nothing compared to what this game being brought back would give me. I understand some of you are not going to vote as you worry this will affect modern RuneScape, but if you read it clearly says it won't as there will be a new development team! All I ask is for you guys to please vote for us people who grew up with the 2007 version of this game and would do anything to bring it back. Voting yes will have no affect on you, but it would mean the world to us who would do anything to experience the golden days again. Thank you people and thank you Jagex for doing this :) .

Just another way for jagex to try juice as much money out of us as possible in their "rigged" vote once again.

They don't care what the outcome is, either way they will have boosted profits by more than 100% due to people buying membership for a month just to vote.

Why do you think 2006 was the time everyone enjoyed.... because we didnt have micro transactions pushed down our throats everytime we log in.. we didnt have yelps spin promotions, we didnt have solomons rubbish store.. it was about the players and good gameplay, thats it.

You provide that, you won't need all this rubbish to raise revenue as people will actually want to play the game again.

They dont want people creating dozens of throwaway accounts that will never help them pay the bills to vote.

then make it a level vote then like they did with forums for f2p users
